Project Scope

Social Media Learning will be realized by installing a Social Media Learning (SML) Application that will
enable you to

Connect different departments of your institution with their respective students

The following figure illustrates how the institution can utilize the Social Media Application.

Each and every participant in the SML Application can

1. Share files
2. Can maintain a blog
 3. Can add members
4. Can form members into groups
5. Can add pages providing information related to curriculum
6. Add wire posts of 140 characters and send them to all or certain groups of members

At each and every stage, control can be exercised as to who should be added in SML, who must be
included in a group and whether you can go public or not.

Hence SML Application can be utilized for implementing

1. Project work
2. Giving and monitoring assignments
3. Complimenting daily work by sharing important links
4. To make important announcements

Hence the complete information can be viewed by Chairman.

Can be tried initially with Management and Computer Science or IT Departments and can gradually
be extended to other departments.
