Description:
Our Client “Vesdia” is headquartered in US who implements the Txn – Domain in the
Vesdia Loyalty System. Currently Vesdia processes millions of transactions both
enrollment and purchase transactions on a daily basis.
Here in the Development there are five instance of JBOSS server (JMS, LTYPROC,
EDIPROC, SCHEDPROC, WEBADMIN) in which JMS acts as a message service, LTYPROC
is for processing the Enrollment of the members and as well as the qualifying the
rewards for the member AND EDIPROC for the parsing Enrollments and Transactions
files which is in the specific Layout, and SCHEDPROC for the generation of the Reports
and for the mail’s generation. And we have the different Layouts for different files. The
framework used is IBATIS to connect to the Database. The WEBADMIN is used for the
front end web application to create the merchants and the offers.
Responsibilities:
• Coding in Java for the VLS PLATFORM.

• Vesdia: supported the running of various files for projects like Kroger, Hawaii,
CitiCash, Citi Thank You, SCS, and SchoolPop.
• Experience in supporting the Production team in a number of projects at some of
Charters Clients.
• Responsible for production related activities such as starting up and shutting
down servers, Generating various reports, Running enrollment, transaction and
other files received from clients.
• Wrote scripts (in UNIX) to validate the different processes running on the
production system.
• Analyzing log files to identify the success and failures of various processes.
• Written ad-hoc code for generating huge files to be used for performance testing.
• Responsible for production research activities such as working on the bug Tracking
tickets which has been created by the clients.
• Processing of the various files on the servers came from the merchants and from
the malls.
