What does B.Ed. stand for and what does the course offer?
B.Ed stands for Bachelor in Education. This degree offers training in Teacher Education and prepares an individual to
be a trained teacher .

Why study Bachelor of Education?

How can I obtain the institute Brochure and the application form?
Kindly visit our central office on the ground floor at Sanpada. However before you collect our application
you are supposed to fill up the CET exam form from the B.Ed dept. which is on the 5th floor.

At what price is the Application Form available?

The College Application will cost you rs. 200 and the CET booklet for a DD of Rs.250 and a DD for Rs. 750
which is the CET exam fee.

What is the eligibility criteria for the B.Ed. course?

A minimum of 45% Open Category with a CET or those with less than 45% but a teaching experience of at
least 2years in the middle or secondary school or those less than 45% with has a PG with second class. / A
min of 40% for SC Category with CET.

What certificates have to be attached along with the application form?

With the CET,as mentioned in the form and with the College Appl. Form: photocopies of 10th, 12th, F.Y.
S.Y, and TY, a post graduate should attach his/her PG certificates

What is to be done after filling the application form?

After meeting the Principal and after having scrutinized the form, it is to be duly submitted on the Ground
floor of the campus
What are the specialized fields in B.Ed.?
The College offers2 specialized fields such as Environment Science and Guidance and Counselling, along

What are the facilities provided by the Institute?

The Institute has a Win-Win with students. Students are sent for various intercollegiate programs, for
Extension work undertaken by the University, in-house competitions, seminars and paper-reading, lectures by
various resource personnel in the field of education and a good exposure of classroom teaching in good
