A. Approval
Fr. Celestino Palma, moved for the adoption of the previous minutes, duly seconded by Fr. Danilo
Rudinas.
Previous Minutes of the Meeting is hereby adopted.
College Seminary
Msgr. Maximino Naron, Jr. reiterated the feasibility of incorporating the Senior High School program
in the seminary; formators are enjoined to study this matter.
Deliberation followed. The issue at hand is whether there would be a second collection for those who
have envelope for the Vianney Sunday special collection. Fr. Marvin moved for the resolution of the
issue through division of the house with the following propositions:
Proposal 1: It would depend on the parish how much shall it give. (proponent: Fr. Edgar Canama)
Proposal 2: Second collection (proponent: Frs. Malalis, Palma and Taguran)
Proposal 3: 25% on the total Sunday collection (proponent: Frs. Daplin and Duhilag)
Election. 2 voted for Proposal 1. 15 voted for Proposal 2. 3 voted for proposal 3. Proposal 2 won. Thus
this resolution.

RESOLVED THAT the St. John Vianney Sunday Collection (CBCP Commission on Clergy) every
First Sunday of August shall be effected by having a Second Collection for all Sunday masses, to those
parishes who do not have envelopes.
RESOLVED FURTHER THAT in case there received envelopes for the abovementioned purpose,
100% of the collection from the same shall be effected.
RESOLVED FURTHER THAT this Resolution shall remain in effect however subject to instruction
by the CBCP-Episcopal Commission on Clergy.
Unanimously approved.

On Further Studies
Fr. Joven inquired on the policy regarding further studies of clergy. Fr. Marvin referred it to the
Commission on Clergy headed by Archbishop Martin, Monsignor Boy and Fr. Edward.
