Note: Stresses at the support are smaller at the serviceability condition than the same
stresses at the transfer condition.Stresses at mid-span are larger at the serviceability
condition than the same stresses at transfer condition. In addition, the state of stress
has reversed from tension at top to tension at bottom and vice versa.
