What did the survey show in terms of
accessibility?
The survey showed that 25% of the students are always online and 31.3%
are online for just few hours a day.
This shows that the students can access the internet for so much time.
Did all students surveyed have access to the
Internet outside of campus?
We have 41.9% of the students who access the internet outside the campus.
They mostly access it in their homes rather than coffee shops.
If so, what was the most common means of
access?
64.5% of the students use Wi-Fi to access the internet in their homes.
16.1% merely use their data bundles which can be a disadvantage as they are
often limited and expensive.
If not, why do you think this is the case?
51.8% of the students access the internet at the campus.
This is mainly caused by the unlimited Wi-Fi connection at the campus.
Students can save money by not buying data, but use the campus Wi-Fi.
Did socio-economic factors play a role in your
findings?
No, socio-economic factors did not play a role as most students have laptops
to access internet,
64.5% of them have Wi-Fi connections at their homes.
Did everyone have the same level of skill in
using technology?
Only 18.2% are skilled at using the technology.
Most students are good with the using of this technology with 36.4% of
their overall total.
Was there a correlation between the level of
access available and skills?
31.3% of students are only for just a few hours a day,
Which in other ways could have caused the 18.2% of the students lack the
skills of using this technology.
It also specifies why we have only 18.2% of skilled students.
