Definition of the Services:

1) AMER service

AMER is a service
provided by the
GDRFA- D (General
Directorate for Residency and foreigners Dubai)
for subscribers which allows receiving and processing UAE Vision applications (Issuing, renewing and
cancelling Dubai Residence visas) and route them to the General Directorate of Residency and
Foreigners Affairs - Dubai electronically.

AMER service is a one stop shop service for all Dubai Immigration related works. Where all Dubai
residents (expatriates population) are compelled to visit AMER service centers for each and every visa
related requirements.

Customer:
As per the latest assessment in 2016, the population of Dubai is over 2.5 million, and the city is expected
to see continued steady growth in the years ahead. The entire Dubai resident is an AMER customer.

Estimated 2.5 million visits are expected in AMER service centers in every 2 years time. (as per 1 year 2
and 3 years visa validity calculation)

Definition of the Services:

2) EMIRATES ID processing

Emirates ID is another important document for UAE national and Expatriates alike. ID must be issued or
renewed with residence and employment visa for expatriates.
(this service can be done in AMER Service Center)

3) MEDICAL FITNESS CERTIFICATE

Every Dubai residents aged above 18 are required to undergo medical fitness test along with Residency
updating time.
(This service can be done in Amer Service Center)

4) DUBAI ECONOMY & MUNICIPALITY

AMER Service Center can host and offer A to Z services of Department of Economic Department and few
services of Dubai Municipality.

Service Center can advice and guide customers offering best insurance and VAT services.

Prospects
Each and every resident is required to update his residency status as soon as it expires in every 1
year 2 or 3 years visa validity durations.
There will be no other service providers than AMER service centers from year 2018.
Residents are required to undergo medical fitness test along with Residency updating time.
Emirates ID is another valid document must issue with residency.
