INTRODUCTION :
I am doing my COOP program in SABIC, one of the biggest companies in

petrochemicals field. I have done my COOP program at Petrokemya plant-OLEFINS
II department. It was very helpful to watch all equipment in regular size working
together. The main purpose of writing this report is to complete my Diploma degree
at JTI.

COMPANY PROFILE :
Arabian Petrochemical Company, also known as Petrokemya, is one of the

oldest companies in the area. Petrokemya manufactures chemical products such as;
ethylene, polystyrene, butene-1, propylene, butadiene, benzene, polyethylene, VCM,
E-PVC, and ABS. Petrokemya was founded in 1981 and is based in Jubail, Saudi
Arabia. Petrokemya is 100% owned by SABIC.

DETAILS OF TRAINING EXPERIENCE AD SKILLS ACQUIRED :
3.1 : Nature of work:
The work environment was very friendly and helpful. All staff were
ready to provide every knowledge they knew. Also, the working hours
were very comfortable. I started my COOP with emergency codes like
what to do when a fire alarm goes on and where to head for evacuation.

3.2 : Safety procedures:
I have learned the Safety, Health and Environment Management (SHEM). SHEM
covers the safety topics and safety procedures to be followed by all employees in
SABIC and its affiliates.

3.3 : Skills Learned:
Teamwork.
Material handling.
Time management.
Initiative.
Responsibility.
Flexibility.
Planning and Organizing.
Problem-Solving.
Creativity.

CONCLUSION :
In conclusion, I have learned many new things from my COOP program such as;
being accurate and sure. Also, being good observer is needed in this field. In
addition, I have seen the process and how it really works on huge production scales.
