FREE KIDS CRAFTS: at the Greenwich Elks Lodge, 130
Bulson Rd., Greenwich, NY. Seasonal Friday afternoon crafting
event free of charge for all local school aged children in Cam-
bridge, Greenwich, Argyle, Salem & Schuylerville. There will
be supervised paper crafting, snacks and more. This season Fri-
day after noon event will take place on Dec. 1st, March 23rd &
June 8th from 4-5:30 pm. Schedule subject to change. Please

the Town of Pittstown Seniors is November 1, 2017. Meeting
begins at noon with a covered dish lunch and business meeting
follows. Location is The Raymertown Volunteer Fire Co. on
Mason Lane in Raymertown. All seniors are welcome.

THE PITTSTOWN HISTORICAL SOCIETY HAS
PLANNED THE FOLLOWING EVENT: A fascinating pro-
gram featuring World War I photographs, along with letters and
stories of heroic Rensselaer County men and women will be pre-
sented by Peter Lindemann on November 16th at 7:30 PM at the
Pittstown Town Hall in Tomhannock. Following the war, the state
historians asked all town historians to submit reports on local
wartime activities, About 400 soldier photographs submitted,
many with instructions such as return without fail. Now 100
years later, these photographs have been re-discovered.
Lindemann, retired from the NYS Assembly, is an historian, a re-
enactor of Abraham Lincoln and an author of books on local his-
tory. The meeting is free and open to the public. For further info

FINE ARTS SHOW:The Valley Falls United Methodist Church
will be holding the 2nd Annual Fine Arts Show on Saturday,
