THE LITTLE PRINCE

Im the Little Prince, I am very little and very, very

curious. Im from the outer space, but Im not an alien! Im
a boy. My planet is very small, it is an asteroid. I have got a
beautiful rose on my planet, I love it. I have got big trees,
too. They are baobabs, you can see baobabs in Africa. I
cannot permit the big baobabs to grow up on my planet.
They can destroy my planet. And I have got a volcano, I
clean the volcano every day, it can destroy my planet, too.

Im on planet Earth now because I am looking for friends, I want to have friends; I want to be your
friend.

THE VISITS

1st Planet

He is visiting a king. The king orders the Little Prince to yawn, but it is not a reasonable
order, so the Little Prince cannot obey the king.

2nd Planet

The Little Prince is visiting a conceited man. He considers the Little Prince an
admirer. He wants the Little Prince to clap his hands and to admire him. Vanity
is very difficult to understand.

3rd Planet

He is visiting a drunkard. The drunkard is drinking very much. The Little Prince is
very sad, vices are so terrible!!!

On the 4th Planet he is visiting a businessman.

The man is counting the stars in the sky, he is only interested in

numbers. The quantity of things is very important to him; it is a serious

matter. He is not interested in anything else, but the Little Prince cannot

see the importance of accumulating things that you are not of any use

to. Avarice is so terrible.

On the 5th planet, he is visiting a very responsible man. He is working very much,

but also for unreasonable orders. Grown-ups are so odd.

On planet 6 the Little Prince is visiting a geographer. He is

studying very much but he does not tell about the

mountains, the rivers, the deserts, the planets. He only sees them in books.

The Little Prince wants to see Planet Earth but not in the books. Planet earth

is his next planet, it is an interesting planet, and he is looking for a friend.
