The Reminiscence

Without bright stars, (footsteps)

Night is more alive
with perplexed thoughts, (turning pages from a book)
darkened with the reminiscence of lovers. (a drop of tears-water)

The storm presents (continue strong storm)

its power
never rests.
All of the bitterness
covered the boundless sky.

Colourful and clear, (bird sound)

the rainbow is a shadow (chicken sound)
to all who confront
the storm last night.

asking why we are apart...? (deep sigh)

appearing over me.

Engraved by the storm, (breaking glass)

He sees
love in white and black (heart beat slow)

in her smiles.

 Project Proposal

The inspiration of the Foley project is from my creative poem The Reminiscence which
is generated from my observation at the airport. The poem is about the depiction of the sky in a
night. Even there is a storm in the first, the rainbow sill appears at the end. This situation makes a
woman recollect to a man despite the fact that they are apart. He does not love her anymore but the
affection is still in her heart. My inspiration is the situation when I saw a couple of lovers at the
airport and then a woman cried because she was leaving. I pretended to be in that situation and
compared her dilemma to the sky.
I chose the Foley project by imitating the sounds of footsteps, turining pages from a book,
drops of water, strong storm, bird, chicken, wind, deep sigh, breaking glass, heart beat slow and
heart beat fast.
I want to portray the mood of separation throughout the song because the story in then poem
is about the couple of lovers who are apart. In the specific part, in the first stanza, the song is started
by apathy, perplexed, and gloomy moods, respectively. In the second stanza, energetic mood is
present as a whole stanza since I want to illustrate the powerful of the storm that effect the feeling
of a woman. Next, in the third stanza, the moods of blissfulness and cheerfulness is appeared in the
beginning as a contrast to the last stanza. Then, the mood of restlessness is strongly suggest the tone
of complexed mind as shown in the first stanza; however, life goes on as the optimistic mood in the
end of the stanza. In the two last stanzas, the incompatibility between a woman and a man is the
peak of this poem by differentiating the different tempo of the sound of heartbeats as the mood of
love and rejection. The tempo is moderate. The song is organised by step by step from beginning till
the end of the poem.
