Introduction (warmer activity + teacher active engagement)
First of all, I will sho them a video that shows the sound of the letter, during the song I will do the actions
of the letter and I will let the students to sing with me and do the actions.
After that, I will ask them what did they saw in the video? And if they remember the words that start with
letter I.

Then I will show them the flash card that shows the three words and let each child hold the flash card and
say the word.
After that, I will play with them a game which is about the hidden picture that start with letter I,
First I will show them letter I then a part of the picture, if they did not know the picture I will show them

the other half tell they know the word, I put three picture which is (insect- igloo- ink)

After that game, I will show them how to write letter I, and let them to write it with me in the air and in the
floor.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)


( medium level students)
Card has an a picture of an insects, and that insects has many letters, so the child should only make a circle
with the marker in the letter I

( high level students)
In the second activity the child will make an insects crown, by cutting cutting the eye and color it, then
stick it to the crown.

I will stick in the floor letters and they have to step only in letter I, and say the sound of the letter while
they are stepping.

Observe each student, if they have learned the three new words and the sound of letter I, ask them questions.

SWC Lesson Reflection (Completed after EVERY lesson taught)
The lesson is about let the children to know the letter I and knowing how they write letter I,
and let them to be able to know the meaning of the word.
Firstly, the one aspect that I feel I did very well in this lesson was about the active
engagement which is playing the hidden picture, the students were enjoyed, and also,
recognize the different new words.
I think that the students responded to me the way that they did because they want to win in the
game, but during the game, they are gaining new knowledge.

Further, in engaging the students was a successful part because the students get engaged during
the video song. However, I think I did wrong making with the playdough letter I, they finish the
activity very quickly and I did not make an extra activity

At the end of the lesson, I think that most of the children understand the concept of the lesson,
except three or 4 students who are in the low center, so I should make for them some extra
homeworks to let them understand the lesson.
