Fayn (11 RP)

Fayn are small humanoid creatures vaguely related to sprites and pixies. They usually
stand between 10 and 1 3 tall, weighing between 1.5 - 3.8 pounds. They have two pairs of
thin, glass-like wings sprouting from between their shoulder blades, not unlike that of a
dragonfly. They tend to be slim of stature, and their hair color ranges from light oney to a deep
black. Fayn reach adulthood at 12, and usually live to be about 50.
Rather than living among the trees and woodlands like their more nature-oriented
cousins, Fayn live in cities alongside larger races, often living in the attics and rafters of their
homes. Fayn are somewhat mischievous, young fayn will sometimes rearrange pantries and
cupboards, misplace keys, and other (usually) harmless pranks. It is considered good luck to
have them in your home, as their presence usually keeps away pests like rats.
These small fey are very family oriented, and often many will live together in the same
dwelling, with extended family like cousins and grandparents living together. Fayn tend to band
with their comrades, fayn or not, in the same manner. Groups of travelling fayn are known as
cliques, and often times they will include any non-fayn that they trust in their clique. The bonds
of a clique are as strong as (and sometimes stronger) than that of family.
Fayn themselves tend towards more scoundrel-esque roles and jobs, with a majority
being rogues, bards, and rangers. Many others tend towards sorcerers and witches.
