Learning objective By the end of the lesson pupils will be able to :
1. Paste at least 1 activity of each day on the Days of the week
table and describe the activities correctly.
2. Paste at least 1 picture of the food the caterpillar eats on the
Days of the week table based on the story shown.
Success criteria The pupils if they can:
1. Paste the correct picture according to the stories.
2. Describe the activities that they have chosen among their
group.

ACTIVITIES 1. Plays a song about days of the week.
i. PRE LESSON 2. Pupils name the days listed from the song.
3. Pupils are shown a story of The Hungry Caterpillar.
4. Pupils share their thought of the story.
ii. LESSON 1. Pupils are shown with a Days of the week table with blanks
DEVELOPMENT on the activity columns.
2. Pupils say out loud each of the days indicated from the table.
3. Pupils are assigned into 3 separate groups.
4. Pupils are asked to discuss in group to recall on what the
caterpillar do and eat each day.
5. Pupils are shown with one example on how to do it in front of
the class.
6. Pupils are assisted when needed.
7. One group is selected to present their answer while the other
groups check their answers based on the discussion.
iii.POST LESSON 1. Pupils are asked to stay in their group as pupils are given with
a new piece of empty poster on Days of the week table to
each group.
2. Pupils are provided with a few pictures on several activities
that they could do each day during their free time.
3. Pupils are assigned to choose the activity that they would love
to do during their free time on the designated days.
4. Pupils are assisted by the teacher when needed.
5. Each group are called out to present on their work.
6. Each group pastes their work around the class and conduct
gallery walk.
7. Pupils are asked to create a scrap book on how they would
spend their free time.
