Based off my resume I believe I would be the best candidate for public prosecutor because of my

experience in law and in the public sector. Working for the public sector is all Ive wanted to do.
To help the American people, and prosecute the villains of society. I would be the best candidate

1. How does your day go

a. Arrives at office at 9 drinks coffee and goes over schedule for the day. Latter type up
reports to send to clients. Read up, and do research on cases and talk to other lawyers.
2. What are your hours like
 a. 40ish hour work week, but Im thinking about stuff on my free time
3. What made you want to practice law?
a. In all honesty my dad told me to, and I just decided to go with it
4. What kind of law do you practice
a. Im a public defender so I defend people that cant afford a lawyer
5. Where did you go to school?
a. I attend Valparaiso University
6. Do you enjoy your job?
a. I love my job even though sometimes it can have a heavy work load, but I feel like Im
providing a service to people who need them.
7. How did you get this position?
a. I was working as an intern for the previous public defender and then he retired, and I
applied simple as that
8. What advice would you give to someone pursing this career?
a. Take your time and be patient obtain a law degree take a lot of school.
9. Whats your favorite thing about your job?
a. Just how I feel like Im providing a service.
10. What is your least favorite part?
a. Staying impartial on their side.

After talking to Scott Wagenblast from Valparaiso Indiana on the phone, hes my moms friend. I learned
so much more about the career from him. I am still interested in this as a career and may even contact
Scott about an internship over the summer when Im home to learn even more. I want to serve
American and help them in the best way I can. If that way is to provide them with the service of defense
then so be it.
