1 Introduction
1.1 Scope
This Adaptation Direction describes examples how to configure and reconfigure the Session
Initiation Protocol (SIP) or Session Initiation Protocol with encapsulated ISUP (SIP-I) Trunk
Configuration Information data, or both.
2 Commands
2.1 SGTCI
Command SGTCI defines SIP Trunk Configuration Information (SCI) entity.
For information about the command syntax and parameters, see Command Description SGTCI.

2.2 SGTCE
Command SGTCE deletes SCI entity.
For information about the command syntax and parameters, see Command Description SGTCE.
2.3 SGVPI
Command SGVPI defines Encapsulated ISUP Version Profile (EIVP) entity.
For information about the command syntax and parameters, see Command Description SGVPI.
2.4 SGVPE
Command SGVPE deletes EIVP entity.
For information about the command syntax and parameters, see Command Description SGVPE.
3 Examples
Protocol used for interworking towards remote server X is SIP with implementation according to
3GPP standard TS 29.163. Two RSIs, SPLIT and RIJEKA, are used towards remote server X. This
applies also for 3GPP standard TS 29.164.
Protocol used for interworking towards remote server Y is SIP-I with implementation according
to ITU-T standard Q.1912.5, profile C. In SIP-I header the value of parameter "Base" is equal to
"ITU-T92+". Two RSIs, ZADAR and SUPETAR, are used towards remote server Y.
Protocol used for interworking towards remote server Z is SIP-I with implementation according
to ANSI standard T1.679. ISUP protocol encapsulated in SIP-I is ANSI ISUP with PID = 0. The
value of parameter "Base" and "Version" in SIP-I header is equal to "ANSI00". RSI LOZISCE is
used towards remote server Z.
Allowed values of SIP implementation type for SIP mentioned above are shown in Table 1:
Allowed values of SIP implementation type and base identifier for SIP-I mentioned above are
shown in Table 2. Base name and version name are the same for ISUP according to ITU-T, ANSI
or ETSI standard.

This command defines SCI entity 1 used for SIP type "SIP" and SIP implementation type 6
within SIP.
SGTCI:SCI=1,SIPTYPE=SIP,SIPIMPL=6;
SGTCE:SCI=1;
This command defines EIVP entity 13 used for base identity 4, version name "ANSI00" and
protocol identity 0. This entity uses ISUP base protocol name ANSI00.
SGVPI:EIVP=13,BASEID=4,VERNAME=ANSI00,PID=0;
This command defines SCI entity 8 used for SIP type "SIP-I" and implementation type 5 within
SIP-I.
SGTCI:SCI=8,SIPTYPE=SIPI,SIPIMPL=5,EIVP=13;
