Equity benchmarks ended flat with a negative bias on Thursday as investors await more corporate earnings. The 30-
share BSE Sensex was down 27.05 points at 33,573.22 and the 50-share NSE Nifty fell 16.70 points to 10,423.80.
Tech Mahindra scrip price dropped 5.6 percent intraday despite better-than-expected earnings in September quarter,
but majority of analysts retained sell call on the stock. FMCG major ITC today came out with a new brand, Farmland,
marking its foray into the fresh fruits and vegetables segment. ONGC plans to nearly double natural gas production in
four years as it invests billions of dollars to produce from newer discoveries, the state-owned firm's chairman Shashi
Shanker said.
