1. Log in to your journal's submission system

2. Click the 'Home' tab. Here you can view your submissions to the journal.
3. Locate the title of the relevant manuscript.
4. In the right hand column next to the manuscript title, you see the current status of that submission.

Search for a status

Status Description

Submission
The Author has initiated a submision, but has not yet completed it. This submision and its status is only visible for the author.
Initiated

With Journal The submision has been received by the journal, but has not yet been assigned to an Editor.

No Editor
An Editor has not yet been invited to handle the submision.
Invited

Editor Invited An Editor has been invited to handle the submision.

With Editor The submision has been assigned to an Editor.

Reviewer
At least one Reviewer has been invited to review the submision, but none have yet accepted to review.
Invited

Under Review At least one Reviewer has accepted to review the submision, however the required number of reviews for the submision have not yet been received.

Ready for
The required number of reviews for the submision have been completed.
Decision

Decision
The handling Editor has submitted a decision and the submision is now pending the higher level Editor's decision.
Pending

Decision in
The nal Handling Editor in a journal with split decision and author notication tasks has submitted a decision but the Administrative Editor has not y
Progress

Rejected The Editor has submitted a reject decision to the Author.

Accepted The Editor has submitted an accept decision to the Author, but the submision has not yet been sent to Production.

Sent to
The accepted submision has been sent to Production.
Production

Transmittal
The submision has not reached Production although the send to Production task has been completed.
Failed

Resubmision
The submision has been sent back to the Author.
Requested

Under
The Author has initiated a resubmision, but has not yet completed it.
Resubmision

The Author has declined to resubmit their submision.

Revision
The Editor has submitted a revise decision to the Author, who has not yet agreed or declined to revise.
Requested

Submit
The Author has initiated a revision, but has not yet completed it. This revision and its status is only visible for the author.

The Author has agreed to revise their submision.

The Author has declined to revise their submision.

Withdrawn The submision has been withdrawn from the journal.

The submision has been assigned to a Copy Editor.

Article The Editor has submitted a reject and oer transfer decision to the Author, who has not yet accepted or declined the Article Transfer Service
