Good morning and welcome everybody.

Today we are having our English

Knowledge Festival and this is our program.

1. Time to Play with English. Students will have the chance to play and
show their abilities by participating in these three funny games:

a. Building Words from Letters.

b. Who Am I?
c. The Price is Right.

And we start with the first game.

Building words from letters
- Contestants:
Primary school and secondary school students
- Scores:
First place: 10 points
Second place: 7 points
Third place: 5 points
Fourth place: 3 points

Game dynamic explanation:

All of the pairs will continuously be given five alphabet letters and they will
have 30 seconds each letter to write down the most quantity of words they
can. The host will choose the cards randomly.

Immediately once the time is over the jury will check spellings.

Estimated time: 20 minutes.

Lets continue with the second game

- Who Am I?

- Contestants:
Secondary school students
- Score:
 5 points each word
- Quantity of words :
10 words

Game dynamic explanation:

A pair will start with the game taking a card with a letter and will write it
down on the board according to the place indicated on the bottom right
corner in the card. Afterwards, the pair will listen to a clue related to the
word. This pair will have fifteen seconds to guess the word. If they failed,
they dont lose any points and the rest teams can risk 2 points trying to
guess the word. If any pair cant guess the word, another pair will start the
game again and the game will go on this way.

Estimated time: 24 minutes

And the last game

- The Price is Right

- Contestants:
Secondary school students
- Score:
5 points the right or closest price/3 points the second closest.
- Quantity of articles:
10 articles

Game dynamic explanation:

Students must guess the price of some house articles or school supplies.
The host will show an article picture and contestants will have 15
seconds each to write down the price of the article they believe it is.

Estimated time: 10 minutes

international organization KidLink. Lets watch the video.

3. Science and Creativeness Fair
