Observe more lessons


Preparedness: How does the teacher make sure the students are prepared for
the day? She revises the information with them and asks them questions
before getting into the new topic.

Pace and flow: How does s/he make sure all students are involved and attentive?
She asks a few students to stand up in front of the class and then she
demonstrates an example regarding the lesson with the children to make it
easier to understand.

Transitions: How does s/he get student attention? Keep their attention and move
to the next task?
By asking for their attention using certain phrases like Be with the
teacher. And then they know to keep their focus on her.
Behaviour: How does s/he deal with misbehavior?
The teacher makes the student stand at the back of the class.

Encouragement: How does s/he interact with students/as a group/individually


e.g. praise, self-confidence, humour, support
She either gives them a paper dirham as a reward or calls them to the front
of the class and praises them then asks for the whole class to applaud
them.
