Introduction The Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education (HKAGE) is dedicated to
providing you with various learning opportunities. Through Sharing Session,
we hope our student members will share knowledge and experience with their
gifted peers as well as other gifted persons. This time, our Alumni are being
invited to share how to become a doctor, who is able to use medicine or
surgery to treat illnesses and injuries. You will be inspired to get prepared for
planning on your career as a doctor. Also you will get more information about
studying medicine in University. Come join us!
Programme Type Personal Growth and Social Development Sharing Session
What do you think of being a doctor yet you have to work long hours in case
there are patients in need? Two alumni, who studied medicine and now even
working as doctors, are invited to share with us their personal stories that may
inspire you to prepare for your career in the medical field.

Dr. CHIA Chi Fung, a young graduate from the University of Hong Kong,
works at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, one of the busiest regional public
Guest speaker hospitals.

(Alumni ) WONG Hiu Yan, Angela is a graduate from the Faculty of Medicine at the
Chinese University of Hong Kong. After graduation, she is invited to be an
honorary clinical tutor at the University. Currently, she works as a resident in
the Department of Ophthalmology for public servicing.

Both will share with you the ups and downs during their university life studying
medicine, and initial experiences while devoting their services in the medical
field.
