they have to work with the questions by themselves, consequently I will be using this
page as an assessment page. When then will done from the work I ask them to come
and check their work, and form checking I will know who get the lesson and who
doesnt, and thus students get for then 5 wrong answers they will get home work to
do on the same topic as a practice.

ask me about it.
This lesson was about subtraction with 10, where the outcome was at the end of the lesson
student will be able to subtract from number 10, and at the end of the lesson, a student will
be able to come up with a missing number in the question of the subtraction. The lesson
takes places in grade 1. Moreover, this lesson contains the activities for three levels which
they are high level and medium level, low level. Providing students work with their level
they will accomplish it swiftly and smoothly, and it will motivate them for additional work.
My lesson was a usual lesson, where it has started, and it follows with teaching part, and
then the while activity, finally the assessing part and most of the time its a book work.
In the begging of the class, i like to have a quick review with students about the general
topic which is the signs of subtraction and addition, because of the students they are not
much familial with signs. So I have to make sure before starting the lesson that they know
them well and when to use them why, so I do with them as an assessment where I will say
they feature of the sign and they have to tell me am talking about which sign? , students
weren't much confident with their answers in this activity, because they aren't used too with
it, where they always get look the picture of the sign, but in my opinion, students should get
this kind of questions to make them prepare for the following up way of teaching the next
lessons. Top on that I did with the spinner game which is about subtraction randomly
numbers, and I pick from each group one girl, which they are LA picking up LA students on
the board is to assign them and scaffold them, besides, boost their confidence. But while
the student is answering the questions that she creates it by the spinner, other students will
be focusing on her because I will ask any student to mark her answer if, this way there will
be no misbehaving and at the same time assessing others too.
The teaching part I begging with a role play of a customer and saleswoman and I did it with
my TA students really enjoy it, and they were focusing on the role, and the evidence was
when I write the question wrong they correct it for me !!. Besides I did with them more two
examples of subtraction with 10 by role play, and in the lest instance I ask them to write the
question that represents the action, and students did on it well even the LA students, giving
an example doesnt mean that you are letting them to memorize, but its practice that
follows with their interaction. During this part I dont find any misbehavior because students
were focused in the region, and busy with the requirement that I asked from them, in my
opinion, student will not misbehave if she is working or observing thing that she like, hence
teacher have to elect ways that attract the student and avoid the action that is not required
in the class.
After the teaching part, I distribute students based on their levels, which mean the LA
students will be in one group and MA students together and HA in another group. Student
did their activity fluently, because I think that time my instruction was clear and I modeled
for them what they will be doing, modeling the activity is impotent for young students
especially they are in grade 1 they need someone to tell them what they have to do not only
orally also by action, otherwise they will take a long time and most of the students they will
be creating another thing with the activity instead of solving the problem. During students
were doing the activity my focus was with LA students and my TA with the MA students, HA
students they did their work by them selfs and fastly , and when they get done with their
activity, they start to talk with each other and make noise where other students cant force
on their work. However next time I will prepare for an additional activity for those students
that get done quickly from their activity so that they will be busy. However, LA student takes
time for their actions, because most of them they dont know write the number or subtract
fatly they need tanking time.
In the end, I did with them book work but time runs out, and they did only one page and my
MST she required two pages! But I assess them on that page that they were working on it,
and some students they get from me worksheet because they get lousy mark from me in
solving the problem, so it will be considered as a practice for them , and in the next day they
will bring it bake, and I will check again.
