    This is the Government's Second motion for an Extension of Time to File Response/Reply to all Defense omnibum motions as to Defendants Edward Mangano, Linda Mangano and John Venditto. The Defense filed on Aug 25, 2017 Doc 79, a Notice of: (1) Motion to Dismiss, (2) Motion for Disclosure of Grand Jury Minutes, (3) Motion to Sever Defendant, (4) Motion for Discovery, (5) Motion for Bill of Particulars, and (6) Motion for Release of Brady Materials. One day earlier -- on Aug 24, 2017, the Defense filed a sealed motion letter to the Judge asking for permission to file UNDER SEAL certain parts of his motions. The Judge agreed. But then, on Oct 12, 2017, the Judge changed her mind. She decided to UNSEAL the sealed parts of the Aug 25, 2017, motion. The Government is simply asking for more time to fight Mangano's flood of motions in this filing on Nov 6, 2017, Doc number 89 in the criminal case against Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano et al.

    Dear Judge Azrack:

    On consent, the government respectfully submits this request for a 7-day


    extension oftime to respond to the defendants' motions. Thus, the government's response will
    be lrled by November 14, 2017, and the defendants' reply by November 28,2017.

    Moreover, all parties respectfully request that the Court adjourn the November
    13,2017 status conference to December 4,2017 at 1l:00 a.m.

    As Iam sure the Court is aware, the speedy trial clock is tolled during this
    period, as the motions remain pending.
