Para-Pro position you have open beginning this winter. I was very excited to hear about the position re-opening! I
applied and interviewed for this position last semester and was so disappointed when I didnt get it. I have been
working as a substitute instructional aide for the Bishop Unified School District during the last year and a half. Im
currently employed as a classified substitute working the summer crew and was a part of both the 2015-16 and
2016-17 BUHS Varsity softball coaching team (looking forward to participating in the upcoming season of the
coaching staff again). I enjoy working with children and young adults. Im dependable, a quick learner and a hard
worker that would love the opportunity to be a part of your team. Im a fourth year college student working on my
bachelors degree in Educational Studies. Bishop is not only where I currently reside, but I was born and raised here.
My dream is to become an elementary teacher and work as a Bishop Unified staff member where I went to school.

This position would be perfect for me because Im still a full time student so a part-time consistent job would work
perfect for my schedule. Attached you will find my resume which outlines my education and work experience.
While I dont have specific experience in the speech field, I believe I have skills that would make me a good fit in this
type of work.
