Subject: Request for Metrological data at Shimla and Manali for M.Tech. Dissertation

Dear Sir/Madam,

This letter is with reference to earlier mail regarding the data sharing from your esteemed
organization for pursuing M.Tech. Dissertation in the discipline of Environmental Engineering
by Ms. Bhanupriya Sharma (Roll No: 2013016358), who is working on research problem titled
Ambient Air Quality Assessment at Shimla & Manali. I am thankful for your support in
providing the air pollution data for the above said analysis. At the stage of analysis we found that
the metrological parameters would be much helpful in giving the complete remarks on the
variation on of air pollution concentration and its impact on human health.

In view of above, I request you to kindly provide the metrological data (i.e. temperature,
humidity and wind speed & direction) for duration of Jan 2014 to Dec 2014 for Shimla and
Manali. This would be a great help for understanding the behavior of pollution and its impact on
human health as well as in completion of the M.Tech. Dissertation of Ms. Bhanupriya.

All the research outcomes from these data will be properly acknowledged.
Kindly facilitate the same.
