INFORMATION PURSUANT TO THE LEGISLATIVE DECREE DATED JUNE 30, 2003, NO.

196

Pursuant to article 13 of the Legislative Decree dated 30th June 2003, on the protection of
persons and entities with regard to personal data, we wish to inform you that:
- personal data means all and any information relevant to individual persons, legal
persons, entities or associations, identified or identifiable, even indirectly, through the
reference to any other information;
- sensitive data are those personal data apt to reveal racial or ethnic origin, religious,
philosophic or other convictions, political opinions, membership of political parties, trade
unions, associations or organisations of religious, philosophic, political or industrial nature, as
well as any personal data apt to reveal health condition and sexual life;
- treatment of personal data means their collection, registration, organisation,
custody, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use,
interconnection, block, disclosure, diffusion, cancellation and destruction or the combination
of two or more of such operations;
- all personal and sensitive data you supply in connection with your relationship with the
Foundation shall only be used for purposes strictly related to the management of the same
relationship and, if necessary, in other treatment operations, provided that their terms are
compatible with such purposes;
- the same data shall be collected within the Foundation and treated by its personnel and
collaborators who carry out operations or activities connected with, instrumental, functional
or ancillary to the ones of the Foundation by manual and electronic means, except for
sensitive data, which shall only be treated manually;
- the said data shall be treated in a correct manner according to lawful procedures apt to
ensure their safety and confidentiality, in accordance with the provisions of the Code; data
other than sensitive data may be disclosed or diffused externally to comply with publicity
obligations contained in legal provisions applicable to the same, or whenever this is necessary
for exigencies of account of the institutional activity carried out or of representation of the
same Foundation;
- the supply of the mentioned data is essential for the management of the relationship on
the part of the Foundation;
-the person in charge of the treatment is the Cariplo Foundation, having its head office in
Milan, Via Manin, 23;
- it will be possible at any time to exercise the rights under article 7, lgs. decree 30th
June 2003, No. 196.

requested to the Secretarys Office of the Foundation.
