Across the Department of Education, far-reaching changes are occurring in schools. A variety
of instructional reforms is underway, shallow but wide coverage, and individualistic learning
processes to higher level skills, problem solving and collaborative learning.

In parallel with educational reform is the educational ICT revolution. Every school is working
to install networks, connect to the internet, and ensure a workable configuration of multimedia
computers, educational software, technical support, and ICT-competent teachers.

The Department has actively implemented the integration of ICT into teaching and learning to
prepare students to be digitally literate. CRVS, having blessed with computer units from the DepEd
Computerization Program, the school continually improves programs regarding ICT integration in the
curriculum; and device ways to make work easier on the use of computers. It enables learners
experience the amenity of living in the digital world.

One of which is the conduct of Electronic Exams during quizzes, exams in Competency-Based
Trainings and during Quarterly Examinations in ICT related subjects. For years, the school and the
students are spending much in the reproduction of test papers and answer sheets. Test papers will be
checked after the activity spending much time and effort.

Consequently, to solve the problem and to lessen time and effort including financial matter to
be spent, Electronic Examination using the DCP units was conceived and developed.`

in the school, in the district and even in the division.

accomplished, they have to make interventions to keep in touch with their students even

competency level of teachers so as to enrich their skills in ICT for integration
strategies.
