- During this process you absorb the nutrients.

d. What happens during the Excretory process?

- During this process you absorb the nutrients.

e. The stomach is
- A tube. The food goes along it.
- Like a mixer. Gastric juices inside it break down the food
into a liquid.
- Where the digestion starts. The food is broken into small
pieces using the saliva, the tongue and the teeth.
