SCRIPT:

(two mice enter)

Gossipy Girl Mouse 1: I heard that Mr. and Mrs. Mouses daughter is very beautiful.

Gossipy Girl Mouse 2: Shes the most beautiful girl in the world!

Gossipy Girl Mouse 1: Is it true that every mouse on earth wants to marry her?

Gossipy Girl Mouse 2: Yes, it is!

Gossipy Girl Mouse 1: Its sad that her parents dont like any of them.
(They leave. Mr. and Mrs. Mouse enter)

Mrs. Mouse: Who will we marry our daughter? We dont like anybodynobody is that good for her!

Mr. Mouse: Thats right. One mouse has a large tail.another one doesnt have teeth another one is too fat. We cant let her marry any of them. They are so
ugly!

Mrs. Mouse: She must marry the most powerful in the world.

Mr. Mouse: The most powerful is the Sun!

(A cardboard sun enters stage)

Mrs. Mouse: (kindly) Mr. Sun! We have a beautiful daughter. She is the prettiest girl in the world, and you are the most powerful. You deserve her!

Mr. Mouse and Mrs. Mouse: We want you to marry her!

Sun: Im not the most powerful. The most powerful is the Cloud.

Mr. Mouse and Mrs. Mouse: The Cloud?

Sun: Yes. The Cloud covers me.

(A cardboard cloud enters stage and covers the sun. The sun disappears)
Mr. Mouse: Hey, Cloud! We have seen you cry a lot of times. Do you cry because you feel alone?

Cloud: No. I cry so that plants can grow.

Mrs. Mouse: You are the most powerful, and you deserve to marry our daughter.

Mr. Mouse: She is the most beautiful mouse on earth!

Cloud: No, Im not the most powerful. The most powerful is the wind.

Mr. Mouse and Mrs. Mouse: The Wind?

Cloud: Yes. The Wind blows me . (the whistling of the wind is heard) Listen! here it comes! Oh, its pushing me!

(A cardboar wind enters stage. The cloud disappears. The wind walks around the stage and the mice follow it)

Mr. and Mrs. Mouse: Mr. Wind! Mr. Wind! Stop!

(The wind stops blowing)

Wind: What do you want. Im in a hurry!

Mr. Mouse: Would you like to marry our daughter? She is the most beautiful mouse in the world!
Mrs. Mouse: You are the most powerful. You deserve her!

Wind: I am not the most powerful. The most powerful is the wall.

Mr. Mouse and Mrs. Mouse: The wall?

Wind: Yes. The wall stops me. The wall doesnt let me go through.

(The wind leaves stage whistling trying to destroy the wall. Mr. and Mrs. Mouse fall down because of the wind force).

Mr. Mouse: (getting up) We have to talk to the wall.

Mr. Mouse: Yes, we have to!

(Mr. and Mrs. Mouse approach the wall)

Mr. Mouse: Mr. Wall! Mr. Wall!

Mrs. Mouse: He doesnt hear you. He is old and deaf.

Mr. and Mrs. Mouse: Mr. Wall! Mr. wall!

Wall: What !
Mr. Mouse: (yelling) Would you like to marry the most beautiful girl in the world?

Wall: That Im wrong? Im too old.

Mrs. Mouse: No! No! Would like to marry our daughter!

Wall: Who, me? Why?

Mr. Mouse: Because you are the most powerful.

Wall: Me, the most powerful? Ha, ha, ha, ha!Im full of holes. The most powerful is the mouse who made them.

Mr. and Mrs. Mouse: The Mouse?

(Mr. and Mr. Mouse look at each other and seem ashamed. A young boy mouse enters from behind the wall)

Young boy mouse: You are the parents of the most beautiful girl in the world. I want to marry her. We have been in love for a very long time.

Mr. Mouse: Oh, but where are you going to live?

Youn Boy Mouse: In this old wall. I have bee building a house with many rooms. It has a living room, a dinning room, and a kitchen. It is very comfortable.

Mr. Mouse: Yes! Yes! You will marry our daughter because you are the most powerful in the world.

Mrs. Mouse: Most powerful than the sun, the cloud, the wind, and the wall.
(The girl mouse enters and hugs and kisses the young boy mouse. The gossipy mice enter).

Gossipy mice: We wish you the best!

(They hug the happy couple. They sing and dance)

(entran dos ratones)

Gossipy Girl Mouse 1: Escuch que la hija del Sr. y la Sra. Mouse es muy hermosa.

Gossipy Girl Mouse 2: Ella es la chica ms hermosa del mundo!

Gossipy Girl Mouse 1: Es cierto que cada ratn en la tierra quiere casarse con ella?

Gossipy Girl Mouse 2: S, lo es!

Gossipy Girl Mouse 1: Es triste que a sus padres no les guste ninguno de ellos.

(Se van, el Sr. y la Sra. Mouse entran)

Sra. Mouse: Con quin nos casaremos con nuestra hija? No nos gusta nadie ... nadie es tan bueno para ella!

Sr. Ratn: Eso es correcto. Un ratn tiene una cola grande ... .un otro no tiene dientes ... otro es demasiado gordo. No podemos dejar que se case con ninguno de ellos.
Son tan feos!

Sra. Mouse: Debe casarse con los ms poderosos del mundo.

Sr. Ratn: El ms poderoso es el Sol!

(Un sol de cartn entra en escena)

Sra. Mouse: (amablemente) Sr. Sun! Tenemos una hermosa hija. Ella es la chica ms linda del mundo, y t eres la ms poderosa. Te lo mereces!

Sr. Ratn y Sra. Ratn: Queremos que te cases con ella!

Sun: No soy el ms poderoso. La ms poderosa es la Nube.

Sr. Ratn y Sra. Ratn: La Nube?

Sol: S. La Nube me cubre.

(Una nube de cartn entra en escena y cubre el sol, el sol desaparece)

Sr. Ratn: Oye, Cloud! Te hemos visto llorar muchas veces. Lloras porque te sientes solo?

Nube: No. Lloro para que las plantas puedan crecer.

Sra. Mouse: Eres la ms poderosa, y mereces casarte con nuestra hija.

Sr. Ratn: Ella es el ratn ms hermoso de la tierra!

Cloud: No, no soy el ms poderoso. El ms poderoso es el viento.

Sr. Ratn y Sra. Ratn: El Viento?

Nube: S. Me sopla el Viento. (el silbido del viento se oye) Escucha! aqu viene! Oh, me est presionando!

(Un viento cardblico entra en el escenario, la nube desaparece, el viento camina por el escenario y los ratones lo siguen)
Sr. y Sra. Ratn: Sr. Viento! El Sr. Viento! Detener!

(El viento deja de soplar)

Viento: Qu quieres? Estoy apresurado!

Sr. Ratn: Te gustara casarte con nuestra hija? Ella es el ratn ms hermoso del mundo!

Sra. Mouse: Eres la ms poderosa. Te lo mereces!

Viento: No soy el ms poderoso. La ms poderosa es la pared.

Sr. Ratn y Sra. Ratn: La pared?

Viento: S. La pared me detiene. La pared no me deja pasar.

(El viento sale de la sala silbando intentando destruir la pared. El Sr. y la Sra. Ratn caen por la fuerza del viento).

Sr. Ratn: (levantndose) Tenemos que hablar con la pared.

Sr. Ratn: S, tenemos que hacerlo!

(El Sr. y la Sra. Ratn se acercan a la pared)

Sr. Ratn: Seor Wall! Seor Wall!

Sra. Mouse: No te escucha. l es viejo y sordo.

Sr. y Sra. Ratn: Seor Wall! Seor muro!

Muro: Qu!

Sr. Ratn: (gritando) Te gustara casarte con la chica ms hermosa del mundo?

Muro: Que estoy equivocado? Soy demasiado viejo.

Sra. Ratn: No! No! Quisiera casar a nuestra hija!

Muro: Quin, yo? Por qu?

Sr. Ratn: Porque eres el ms poderoso.

Muro: Yo, el ms poderoso? Ha, ja, ja, ja! Estoy lleno de agujeros. El ms poderoso es el ratn que los hizo.

Sr. y Sra. Ratn: El Ratn?

(El Sr. y el Sr. Ratn se miran el uno al otro y parecen avergonzados.Un ratn joven entra por detrs de la pared)

Joven ratn: Ustedes son los padres de la chica ms hermosa del mundo. Quiero casarme con ella. Hemos estado enamorados por mucho tiempo.

Sr. Ratn: Oh, pero dnde vas a vivir?

Youn Boy Mouse: En esta vieja pared. He construido una casa con muchas habitaciones. Tiene una sala de estar, un comedor y una cocina. Es muy cmodo.

Sr. Ratn: S! S! Te casars con nuestra hija porque eres la ms poderosa del mundo.

Sra. Ratn: Ms poderosa que el sol, la nube, el viento y la pared.

(El ratn de la nia entra y se abraza y besa al joven chico, los ratones chismosos entran).

Gossipy ratones: Le deseamos lo mejor!

(Abrazan a la feliz pareja, cantan y bailan)
