Good morning! How is everyone doing today? Good. Today we are going to use task cards to review/learn about different point of views.

Today you will be able to identify 1st and 3rd point of view in short stories.
Purpose of the Lesson (This information is important because___.):
This information is important because as you read a text you will be able to know who was writing the story.
Explanation/Procedures (Relate to prior knowledge; describe what you will teach & model, what the students are to do with you,

I will review key words with the students about certain words then I would present couple of task cards and
work with the students. At last for individual practice, students will be given 2 task cards and they would put
their answer on the worksheet provided.

I would provide some story books that have been read in class and ask the student which point of view this book is
Elaboration (what else might you need to do/say to teach this skill/concept):
Students that need extra support could work in groups to work on task cards.

Great work everyone! I am glad that you all were able to work with each other and participated in this task. Lets do
a quick review before we leave. (How would you know which is 1st point of view? I, me, my, our etc tell me for
third? She, his, her, their etc ) Excellent! Tomorrow we will move onto (Undecided).
