Barclays Bank PLC has launched a new product of Business Installment loan in Oct
2009.In order to encourage Cash flow based lending, banks / DFI are allowed to take clean
exposure, facility secured solely against Personal Guarantees. BIL is a clean facility of 2M
under the Small & Medium Enterprises (SME)
• To facilitate the business by ensuring that credit applications are processed as per the
criteria in the segment manual and policies issued from time to time.
• Conducted study through an external research company on income estimation for Self-
employment professionals & businessman in Pakistan.
• Monitoring industry trends and evaluating effects on the portfolio of clients. Participation
in formulating policies and procedures.
• Perform Self Testing as per the approved Master Control Standard and maintain adequate
support documents each month
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Scrutinize cases as per policy of SBP standard regulation.
• Co-ordinate with Sales, operation, Fraud Department and policy department to resolve all
issues & quality results.
• Evaluation of customer’s credit worthiness by means of financial statements, cash flows
and profile analysis, keep emphasis on quality and good profile loans..
• Liaison with external agencies (EAMVU) for better control on physical verification process
and reduce the turnaround time.
• Ensure all approved cases are eye balled by FMU personnel on daily basis.
• Handed over files to Inter – Department as per Service Level Agreement.
• Ensuring that audit requirements are met as per policies and procedures
