TAYBAH STEEL
CVS was founded in 1998 and specializes in production of equipment and machinery
for steel mills. Beginning its operations with a team of 50 people in a 600 sqm plant
and growing into its current location of more than 4,500 sqm, CVS is now moving into
its own premises with a closed area of 18,000 sqm located on a land of 38,000 sqm.
With a highy skilled workforce of 500 people, the company today is offering
fabrication and engineering services with its considerable know-how and strong
background on engineering and design.

CVS counts nearly all of the Turkish steel mills among its customers while exporting
to foreign steel mills all around the world from North America to the Far East. With
most of the turnover coming from the exports, CVS specializes in following and
applying world standards in quality and work processes.

CVS is also the first and only company of its sort in Turkey to offer turn-key solutions
to its customers. The recently completed Steel mill near Amman, Jordan is an
example of this. Having a 30-ton electric arc furnace, a ladle furnace, a two-strand
continuous casting machine, a fume treatment system and all the other necessary
auxiliary equipment, this brand new plant is designed and built from ground up by
CVS engineers and workers. The same turn-key approach is also being offered to
customers for their equipment revamping and plant improvement needs.

With a registered capital of 2 million USD, CVS achieved a sales figure of 25 million
Euros in 2006. The target, which is well under way to be achieved, is 40 million Euros
for 2007. CVS is on its way to becoming a 100-million Euro company by 2009.

With its strong positioning in the market and perfect reputation coming from its past
performance with steel mills all around the world, CVS foresees a strong steel market
in the mid to long term and believes that its current position will benefit it in this
growth environment.

Quality control plays a vital role in shaping the operations at CVS. Continuous
improvement of processes and workforce at the quality control department is
manifesting itself in world class products, which create a high customer satisfaction
rate. Being an ongoing process, not limited to final inspoection, QC process is clearly
defined under the guidelines of ISO9001-2000 standards. A vital part of production
process, welding procedure is certified by the universally recognized EN 729 – 2
certificate. This attention to detail and procedures creates an environment where
quality production becomes a company philosophy.
CVS boasts a strong infrastructure from machinery to information technologies. This
modern and efficient work environment assures an effective work environment where
productivity is valued and workers can realize their best potentials, thus not losing
time and resources to waste and inefficiencies.

With the guidance of a forward looking executive board consisting of the three
partners of the company, CVS installs this confidence and goal oriented approach to
its middle management too; therefore achieveing a uniformity of goals and targets
among the workforce as a whole. This confidence gives CVS the strength and self-
confidence to undertakesome of the most prestigious projects in the industry.
