Master Exchange:

EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY:

Eastern New Mexico University has international students from 26 different countries including Canada,
China, Germany, Ghana, India, Kenya, Mexico, Nepal and more. The international program through
Eastern offers engaging classes and events that encourage students to learn and network with people
with different cultural backgrounds. The faculty and staff are supportive in and out of the classroom,
promoting educational success and cultural diversity.

Requirements:

Coming to Eastern is easy! Best of all, applying to ENMU is free! Our admission process requires
submitting the following documents:

1. Complete a free online application for undergraduate international students.

2. Send ENMU the following documents:


Official transcripts
Have a transcript evaluation/translation service submit a copy of your high school transcript
directly to ENMU. The National Association of Credential Evaluation Services maintains a list of
approved service providers.
Your TOEFL or IELTS score
Send ENMU your score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). ENMU's
institution code is 4299.
Required scores:
- 61 iBT for undergraduates (173 computer-based, 500 written).
- ENMU may waive the TOEFL requirement if your secondary or post-secondary education
was primarily in English or your coursework included advanced courses in English with
high marks.
- ENMU will also accept IELTS scores of at least 6.0 n lieu of TOEFL.

Financial statement Submit an I-134 form and an official letter from the bank. The letter from
the bank must be on official letterhead and show the equivalent in United States dollars. View
our estimated expenses for undergraduate students to see what your out of pocket costs may
be to attend ENMU. All documents must be original documents. Scanned email attachments,
copies and faxes of financial documents will not be accepted. For information about other
methods of financial certification, contact the international student advisor. All financial
documents must be dated within six months of the intended program start date.

3. Get your visa after you are admitted to ENMU, you will receive an I-20 form for an F-1 visa, or a
DS-2019 form for a J-1 visa. If you are transferring from another institution located in the United
States, please fill out the International Student Transfer Form and send it to the Office of
International Student Advising.

Scholarships are defined as a type of financial aid, in the form of a grant (a sum of money or
other aid) that does not have to be repaid by the recipients to assist students as they pursue their
studies.

ENMU offers academic scholarships of up to $3,000 per year for first-time freshmen based on
national ACT or SAT scores. Thats up to $12,000 over four years! Review the scholarship information
on this page to see what you might qualify for. Keep in mind any scholarship you receive might affect
your eligibility for other financial aid. Be sure to communicate with your admissions recruiter and a
financial aid advisor to find out what scholarships might be best for you. Scholarships are distributed
over two semesters, fall and spring.
