INTRODUCTION

Every business started in small beginnings. Starting a consignment

basis business is an ideal start-up venture for young entrepreneurs like

us because it doesnt require a big capital. However, in order for

our consignment business to be successful, we need to have a good product

that people will always love to have in their everyday life, a good

location and we have to market it well.

We just joined the food industry business this year with our famous

Jams where well sell through displaying our product to small stores or

malls in a consignment agreement and via online. We targeted to open

our first consignment business at Prince Town Cabadbaran. Consignment

items also work will as an online business. As to the consignment shop

owner, they don't pay anything for their inventory until it is sold,

which makes this business ideal, splitting the profits when make a sale.

Many times, the profit split is 60/40, with the higher percentage going

to the consignment shops.

Our business started when we visited the house of our friend and

his mother cooked a Jam in season fruit to this case it was Langka,

since we love its taste, so we came up the idea of making jams using in

season fruits as a business. We even developed several recipes for jams.

We include guava, mango and lemon jam. These jams have been tried and

tested by people but received a positive feedback. After, special

attention has been given to developing an attractive label that will

stress the gourmet/specialty nature of the products.

When we talk about jam, this is a solid gel made from the pulp of

a single fruit or combination of fruits with a fruit content of at least

40% and a total sugar content of not less than 68% to prevent mould

growth after opening the jar. Jams can be kept for several months when

stored in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight.

With our Fruit Jam business, we knew that we will face many problems

ahead but we will face it and fix it so that this company will remain

standing and strong in the future. This business will surely be on top

someday because our vision is to be the top-of-mind young entrepreneurs

in the country by providing excellent and quality product with commitment

and unwavering dedication in an effort to provide excellent customer

service. We know that if we stick in our company, we will succeed.

Financial analyses show that the company will have both a positive

cash flow and profit in the first year.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

We all know that a business plan is a formal statement of business

goals, reasons they are attainable, and plans for reaching them. It may

also contain background information about the organization or team

attempting to reach those goals. And writing a business plan is a

struggle for us knowing we have other subjects that needs attention. But

behind all the struggles weve faced, its being paid.
