Materials:
Dandelion: 3, (3, 4)50g balls, color 2010 Green
Dasiy: 2, (2, 3)50g balls, color 1010 Green
Gauge: 4.75, 7.5 rows = 1 in Waffle Stitch using
either yarn on size 7 needles,
5 sts = 1 in 1x1 ribbing on size 7 needles with
Dandelion, slightly stretched.
Needles: Size US 7 knitting needles, 4 stitch markers,
size 7-32 circular, 3 buttons.

Waffle Stitch Pattern (Multiple of 3 sts + 2)

Note: Alternate between Dandelion and Daisy every 4
rows.
Row 1 (RS): knit
Row 2: purl
Row 3: p2, *k1, p2; rep from * across
Row 4: k2, *p1, k2; rep from * across.
Repeat these 4 rows for pattern.

Back
With Dandelion, Cast on 53, (59, 65) sts. Work in 1x1
ribbing for 1 , ending with a WS Row and
decreasing 3 sts evenly across last row.
50, (56, 62) sts. Begin working in waffle stitch pattern.
When back measures 6, (6 , 6 ) from cast on edge,
end with a WS Row.
Armhole Shaping (RS): Bind off 6 sts at the beginning
of next 2 rows. 38, (44, 50) sts.
Decrease Row (RS): k2, ssk, pattern to last 4 sts, k2tog,
k2. Repeat decrease row every other row 1, (4, 6) times
more, then every 4th row 7, (7, 8) times.
Bind off remaining 20 sts.
Right Front
With Dandelion, Cast on 26, (28, 30) sts.
Rib Row 1 (RS): k2, *p1, k1; rep from * across.
Rib Row 2 (WS): *p1, k1; rep from * across, ending
with p2. Repeat these last 2 rows until piece measures 1
from cast on edge, ending with a WS Row and
decreasing 3, (2, 1) sts evenly across row.
23, (26, 29) sts. Begin working in waffle stitch pattern.
When front measures 6, (6 , 6 ) from cast on edge,
end with a RS Row.
Shape Armhole (WS): Bind off 6 sts, pattern to end of
row. 17, (20, 23) sts.
Shape Neck/Decrease for armhole (RS): pattern to last
4 sts, k2tog, k2. Repeat decrease row every other row 1,
(4, 6) times more, then every 4th row 7, (7, 8) times- at
the same time decrease 1 st at neck edge every other
row 4 times. Bind off last 4 sts.
Left Front
Work same as right front, reversing all shaping.
Sleeves
With Dandelion, Cast on 33, (35, 39) sts. Work in 1x1
ribbing for 1, ending with a WS Row and decreasing
1, (0, 1) st across). 32, (35, 38) sts.
Begin working in waffle stitch pattern, while increasing
1 st at each end of every 12th, (13th, 24th) rows 3, (3, 2)
times. 38, (41, 42) sts.
Incorporate these sts into the waffle stitch pattern.
When sleeve measures 6, (6 , 7 ) from cast on
edge, end with a WS Row.
Shape Armholes (RS): Bind off 6 sts at the beginning of
next 2 rows. 26, (29, 30) sts.
Decrease Row (RS): k2, ssk, pattern to last 4 sts, k2tog,
k2. Repeat decrease row every 4th row 7, (6, 6) times
more, then every 6th row 0, (2, 3) time.

Finishing
Block to measurements. Sew raglan seams. Sew side
and sleeve seams.
Front Band/Shawl Collar: With circular needle and
Dandelion, start at right front cast on edge and pick up
30, (33, 36) sts along the front to the first neck
decrease, place marker, 33, (35, 38) sts along the neck
and sleeve edge, place marker, 21 sts along the back
neck, place marker, 33, (35, 38) sts along the left neck
edge, place marker, and 30, (33, 36) sts along the left
front to cast on edge.
147, (157, 169) sts.
Work in 1x1 ribbing 84, (89, 95) sts, turn.
Rib to marker, remove marker, rib 2, replace marker,
turn. Repeat this last row until you reach the last 30,
(33, 36) sts of the row. Then, remove all markers and
work in ribbing across all sts. When smaller portion of
ribbing measures , (, ), work buttonhole on a RS
Row:
Buttonhole Row (RS): Rib 7, (8, 9) sts, *bind off 1 st,
rib 7 sts; rep from * once more, bind off 1 st, rib to end
of row.
On next row, cast on 1 st over bound off sections.
Work in rib for another . Bind off all sts in rib.
Sew 3 buttons onto front. Weave in all ends.
