Librarian Night Committee Report

Librarian Night is set on 8TH of August 2012 at Tropicana Ballroom Banquet, Level 6,
Collesium Square,Jalan Raja Nazrin Shah,30250 Ipoh, from 6.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m.

The Librarian Night Committee is established on 3RD of July 2012. The purpose of
establishing the committee is to efficient the work out process.

Certificates
This department is managing by Goh Say Kheat and Wong Sek Yin.
Certificate is representing the appreciation of Board of Student Librarians to the
senior librarians.
The purpose is to decorate certificate, request approval of the certificate design
from Mrs. Lee, send the certificate to Mrs. Lee for her signature and distribute the
certificate to the senior librarians on the Librarian Night.
During the process of designing the certificate, there are many error occur, due to
oversight of Goh Say Kheat. Did not request information of certificate from the
seniors and teacher. On 3RD of August the certificates is been sent to principal for
signature.
Registration
Registration Department is administrated by Maybeline Hooi Mei Poh and Caleb Lai.
This Department is to ensure the number of participant for Librarian Night. They are
going to take the attendance for Librarian Night. There are 98 participants to the
Librarian Night. Beside that the Registration Department is responsible for the
registration fee. The amount to be paid by

3. Probationers RM 40

Master of Ceremony
This department is supervising by Lee Yean Hwa and Goh Kar Yun.
Master of ceremony is to reveal dynamic scene on the Librarian Night.
They have been trained by Judy Marie. The training is conducted at school after the
lesson of the day ends on every Tuesday.

Interior Decoration
This department is administrated by Vivien Wong Yuen Lye and Tey Suet Yee.Interior
Decoration is to consummate a theme on Librarian Night. They completed their
decorations plan for Librarian Night.

Opus Prime
This department is managed by

This department operates before the Librarian Night Committee officially forms.
The department is to produce yearly magazine of Board of Student Librarians, Opus
Prime. This year the 28th edition of Opus Prime to be publish. The Opus Prime is then
distributed to all senior librarians as gift on Librarian Night. There is survey been
carried out by this department, Opus Prime Survey.

Security
Security Department is supervising by Lee Jia Wen.
The department is to ensure the tidiness of Tropicana Ballroom Banquet after the
event.

Souvenirs
Souvenirs Department is administrated by Vivian Yiu Yong Hui and Toh Hoi Yee.
The souvenirs is prepared to the seniors,

There is Special Souvenir for the Prom King and Prom Queen
They will be awarded a crown on that day, but the crown must be returned to the
library after a week (7 days) of the event.
Programmer
Programmer Department is managed by Alfred Wong Kar Wai and Chong Kok Jeng.
This department is to conduct the activities to be carried out on Librarian Night.

Invitation Cards
Invitation Card Department is supervising by Cheah Poh Yeng and Ng Chi Yan. The
objective of this department is to decorate and send invitation card to the principal,
senior teachers, senior librarians, and librarians. The invitation card is sent on 3RD of
August.

Programme Books
Programme Books Department is administrated by Jemimah Teh Yun Jiun and Ling
Su Wynn. The purpose of the department is to assist Programmer in planning of
activities and printing of events books. The amount of book printed is 10 booklets.
The events books had been printed on 2ND of August.

Photography
Photography Department consists of two photographers, Jimmy Leong Ji Min and Ivy
Goh Pei San. Photographer is responding to take video and photo during Librarian
Night.

Sash
Sash Department is conducted by Loh Siu Leong,
This department is to decorate and ready the sash to the winner, based on the Opus
Prime Survey. The decorations and the sash will be done on 9TH of August.

Audio Visual Aid

Audio Visual Aid Department is managing by Lee Keifer and Lau Meng Kin. The
department will coordinate all the visual and audio during Librarian Night.
