MULTICLUB MOTORKHANA
1. The event will be conducted under the International Sporting Code of the FIA, the National
Competition Rules of CAMS, the CAMS National Motorkhana Code, the NSW Motorkhana
Addendum, these Supplementary Regulations and any further regulations which may be issued.
This Event will be conducted under and in accordance with CAMS OH&S and Risk
Management Policies, which can be found on the CAMS website at www.cams.com.au.
6. VENUE / LOCATION: Sutton Road Driver Training Centre, Sutton Road, ACT 2620
8. TESTS TO BE CONDUCTED:
Minimum No. of tests: Four
Maximum No. of tests: Six
All tests will be taken from the CAMS Motorkhana Test Booklet.
9. INVITED CLUBS:
MG Car Clubs of Canberra, NSW, Newcastle, Hunter Region, Wagga Wagga, Geelong and Victoria;
Southern Districts Motorsport Association; Brindabella Motor Sport Club, Light Car Club of
Canberra; Thornleigh Car Club; Porsche Car Club (Victoria); Mini Car Club (NSW); Sprite Car Club
(Aust.); Renault Car Club (Victoria); Renault Car Club (Aust.); Peugeot Car Club (NSW.); MX5 Car
Club (NSW.); Gippsland Car Club; Jaguar Drivers Club of Canberra; Rotary Enthusiasts of the ACT
(REACT), Shoalhaven and Kiama District Auto Club; ACT Mini Car Club; Initial Drift Club.
18. CLASSES: The organisers envisage the competition will be divided into the following classes:
Class A - Production Cars - wheelbase up to 2150mm Class F - Front Wheel Drive Specials
Class B - Production Cars - wheelbase 2151 to 2390mm Class G - Rear Wheel Drive Specials
Class C - Production Cars - wheelbase 2391 to 2574mm Class H - Production Based Specials
Class D - Production Cars - wheel base over 2574mm
20. The CAMS permit will be displayed at the start of the event.
21. The organisers may refuse any entry in accordance with NCR 83.
23. Entries from competitors under 18 years of age must be counter signed / consented to
by a parent / guardian.
24. Personal Accident Insurance is provided by the purchase of a CAMS Competition Licence. For
further details of CAMS Insurance provisions please refer to Appendix I of the 2009 CAMS
Manual.
28. Protests must be lodged in accordance with Part XII of the current CAMS Manual.
29. Use of prohibited Substances During any event, consumption of alcoholic beverages in
the paddock, pits or any other portion of the competition venue under the control of the
officials is expressly forbidden until all practice or competition activity is concluded for each
day. Any driver or crew member who is found to be affected by alcohol on the day of the
event or practice therefore shall not be permitted to participate. Refer NCR 145A of the
Current CAMS Manual. In addition, the persons concerned will be subject to the Articles of
the Standard Operating Procedure for Alcohol Testing and CAMS Anti-Doping Policy.
Competitors, crews or officials may be randomly tested for alcohol by a CAMS Accredited
Testing Official (CATO) or other drugs at any time during the event(s).
The CAMS Anti-Doping Policy, as appears in the CAMS Manual of Motor Sport and as
amended from time to time, is recognised as an integral component of the NCR and is duly
authorised as such. In any areas where the National Competition Rules and the Anti-Doping
Policy conflict, the Anti-Doping Policy will take precedence.
30. Passengers in Vehicles. All passengers are to comply with and sign a separate form -
“Disclaimer exclusion of liability, release and assumption of risk passengers in vehicles”.
