licensesintheCityofMapleGrovewithH.A.M.,DOB:10/05/98(19yearsold).OnOctober26,2017,at
approximately4:15p.m.,H.A.M.enteredPieologyPizzerialocatedat7860MainStreetNorthintheCityof
MapleGrove,HennepinCounty.H.A.M.wenttothecounterandorderedabottleofMichelobGoldenLight
DraftBeer.Theserver,lateridentifiedasA.A.A.,DOB:08/04/00(17yearsold)neveraskedH.A.M.forher
identification,rangupthesaleandaskedH.A.M.for$3.22.H.A.M.handedA.A.A.a$20bill.A.A.A.gave
H.A.M.herchange,pointedtoacoolerwherethebeerwaslocatedandtoldH.A.M.totakeherbeer.
H.A.M.wenttothecoolerandretrievedthebeer.OfficerSellmanapproachedA.A.A.identifiedherselfasa
MapleGrovePoliceOfficer.OfficerSellmantookpossessionoftheMichelobGoldenLightDraftbeer,and
informedA.A.A.thatshehadjustsoldalcoholtoaminor.OfficerSellmanidentifiedanotheremployee
workingwithA.A.A.asR.C.S.,DOB:08/17/01(16yearsold).OfficerSellmanaskedtospeaktothe
generalmanager.A.A.A.toldOfficerSellmanthatthemanager,AleshaBerger,hadalreadygonehomefor
theday.OfficerSellmancalledMs.Bergeronthetelephone.OfficerSellmaninformedMs.Bergerthat
A.A.A.hadsoldalcoholtoaminorandthatneitherA.A.A.norR.C.S.werelegaltobesellingalcohol.Ms.
Bergerstatedthatshewasrecentlyhiredasthegeneralmanagerandthatshehasnotgonethroughthe
alcohollicensingtrainingwiththeCityofMapleGrove.OfficerSellmanreturnedtotheMapleGrovePolice
DepartmentandrequestedacopyoftheliquorlicenseapplicationforPieologyPizzeriafromtheCityof
MapleGrovesoshecouldgetthelicenseeinformationinordertochargetheproperpersonwithcharges
ofviolatingalicenserestrictionrelatingtominorssellingalcoholicbeveragesatPieologyPizzeria.Officer
SellmanlearnedfromCityrecordsthattherestaurantownerwasMatthewFrancisKalil,DOB:07/06/89,
thedefendantherein.
