INF 1070- Digital research project and presentation

In this module you will be creating your own digital research project using keynote. This project

will be 90 points of your INF 1070 module. (the other 10 points is your keynote cheat sheet)

The timeline for this project is 2-4 class periods based on how you are progressing each class.

You will then present your keynote to the class and your classmates and teacher will give you

feedback on your presentation and keynote. You will then have 1 class period to make changes

to your keynote based on the feedback you got after your presentation before you hand in your

presentation. Below is the criteria your keynote should include.

1. You will research an area of interest and create your keynote based on that area of

interest. I.e. football, drama, exercise regimes, your favourite animal, Universities you

may want to attend, holiday destinations, something in the news, etc.

2. You will create a keynote presentation that you will share with the class. Your keynote

must include:

1. A title page with the name of your topic

2. A slide stating why you chose to research this topic

3. 3-5 slides describing what you have found out about your topic. I.e. interesting facts

4. Numerous pictures and slide transitions

5. Backgrounds that are visually appealing

6. At least one animation

7. At least one video about your research topic

8. A reference page

3. You will then present your keynote to the class and your classmates and teacher will

give you feedback on your presentation and keynote.

4. You will then have 1 class period to make changes to your keynote based on the

feedback you got after your presentation before you hand in your presentation.
