ISSN Reflection: Digital Simile

The purpose of this project was to show how we can show our digital life in a simile.

When I received this project I believed it would be simple because I knew how to use certain

tools on the computer and knew how to import music and pictures. My first goal is to write a

draft first and then start a final. My second, is to not procrastinate and get the work done right

away.

Throughout the project my first step was to choose my simile and which one suited my

digital life. I then made a story board of my animation to know what to include on my

presentation. I decided to use Powtoon as my animation tool because it had a lot of creative tools

to use. As I added my pictures I tried to connect it with my simile.

I learned that we can connect our digital life to about anything. I learned that if I am

determined and focused on my goals I will be able to accomplish the assignment on time. I

excelled at using new software to present my animation. I need to improve on my computer and

knowing how to import music. Next time I would like to put more pictures of my digital life. I

was proud of completing everything by myself and knowing how to use Powtoon. Nothing really

disappointed me in this project.

I recognized and weighed perspectives by using the arts of technology to help me with a

task that I can use in my everyday life. I was able to describe what is my digital life in a simile.
