Many others follow their favorite sport on television, practice it or go to see matches. This
is the reason why people who play sports and do it very well, in groups (teams) or
individually, become vey famous. Same of them represent their country in the internacional
competitions. Ohters play professionally and receive a salary.
Television, radio, newspaper and magazines make them famous because they interview and
show them frequently, you almost know them:

Venus and Serena Willians

The play tennis. They are American. Venus was born on June 17-1980, in Lynwood-
California. Her sister, Serena was born, in Saginaw-Michigan, on September 26-198.
Althought they are very young. They play professionally. They are very good players.
Venus has trophies from Wimbledon 2000-2001, the US open, the Olympic Games in 2000,
and from all junior competitions she participates in. Serena also has trophies from he Us

He is a basketball player. He was born in Brooklin-New York, in the USA, on february 2-1963.
He reired in 1999 but he is playing again. He played for the Chicago Bulls, a teams of the
National Basketball Association (NBA)
Michael's nickname is Air Jordan, because he jumps very high to score. He is also a
professional player and makes many commercials. He also played baseball. He is an actor.
He made a movie with cartoon characters

Zinedine Zizou Zidane

He is football (soccer) player. He was born on June 26-1972 , in Marseille, France.
His family is from Alergia, in North Africa. He is married and has two sons.
He plays professionally for the Real Madrid a spanish team, but he is the captain of the

individually. He is considered the best football player in Europe. He is a very nice and polite

He is a car racer. He is from Bogot-Colombia, Where he was born on september 20-1975.
He started racing Karts when he was a child. In 1999, he was the champion in F-Cart,
where he and 14 pole positions (first place to start a race) and whon 10 races in his first
year. The engine of his car was Toyota. Juan Pablo won the 500 miles in Indinapolis-USA
en 200 Now, he runs in formul one (F-1). F-1 is the World Grand Prix Cham-ionship. He
runs with the willians team; The engine of his car is BMW. He makes many commercials.
