Subject: Recognition/Renewal of Recognition of Student/Campus Organizations

Dear collegues:

Christian greetings!

The Office of the Student Affairs (OSA) is now accepting applications for recognition or
renewal of recognition of student/ campus organizations. Student organizations may be
academic (enhance the academic proficiency of its member in their chosen field of study),
Socio-Civic (objectives are geared toward the improvement of quality of service specifically
outside the campus), Religious (organization belonging to the evangelical faith professing
Jesus christ as Lord and Savior, the bible as the sole authority in matters of faith and living in
accordance of christian principles), or Special interest (develop appreciation for culture and
for wholesome art, promote excellence in the field of interest).

In addition, recognized student organizations have the following privileges: officially

represent FCU as a recognized organization; seek assistance from OSA for legitimate school
function; participate in institutional events/activities initiated by the FCUSR and the Hillside
Echo; undertake fund-raising activities; use the facilities of the University subject to existing
policies and procedures; and receive financial assistance from the student activities fund
(SAF) subject to existing policies, procedures and availability of funds.

In this light, the OSA is inviting your organization or the organizations in your department to
apply for recognition/renewal of recognition for the A.Y. 2017-2018. The dealine for the
application for recognition/renewal is on July 14, 2017.
