Reflection

At first, my group decided to create a short film for our project which is about the treaty of Paris.
We discussed for that about one to two weeks. After we discussed, I thought that short film might
be too hard to work on because the short film requires a lot of editing skills but our group lack of
member who can edit the film. Also, the short film requires more time to work on. So, we decided
to change our project into a comic book which is easier to do. More than that, Pink is good at
drawing so, we gave the responsibility of drawing stuff to her. And others members in the group
were classified to work in a different role. Even thought Mr. Chole gave us time to work on in class,
but thats not enough so, we had to bring the work to proceed at home in order to finish the project
before the due date. The only problem is that our free time does not match to each other.

On Unit 1 project, my group wants to work on something related to American Revolution. Then
one of us found this topic, the treaty of Paris. This event is taking place after the war between
French and British which called French and Indian war. This war took place in North America. The
cause was both of them try to expand their territory to others land. Then, French knew that if there
was a war, theyll lose anyway. So, French was forced to give up and signed the treaty of Paris. Its
actually can describe as the event that was an official peace treaty between the United States and
Britain that ended American Revolutionary War. The Treaty of Paris of 1783 affected America by
formally ending the Revolutionary War and providing British recognition of American
independence. It also expanded America's territories, arranged for the release of prisoners of war
and gave details of postwar debts, property and other economic considerations.

After the presentation from other group, I gain more knowledge in each topic which related to the
unit 1. First group is about the Glorious Revolution which is about The people of England and
Scotland did not like the Catholic King James II because he would not let them vote or practice the
religion of their choice. They invited the Protestant William III of Orange-Nassau to take over as
king. William was King James II's nephew and Mary's first cousin. He came to England with his
wife Queen Mary, the daughter of King James II. They let the old king escape, so he moved to
France out of fear. Second group is the group that presented about Mr. Voltaire and Mr. Rousseau.
This group made the presentation through the short film. Both of them expressed that nature of
human is great, yet the general public debases individuals; without society same as different
creatures, individuals would be better. Proceed to the next group which is about John Locke,
Thomas Hobbes and American Revolution which weve learned in unit one. The last group
presented about The American Revolution. This group made the real newspaper which attached
everyone in class. They also mentioned about John Locke and Thomas Hobbes which similar to the
group before.
