CALL TO ORDER

Mrs. Rona Manalo started the meeting through a prayer.

BUSINESS ARISING

Mrs. Pelingon is still looking for a psychologist to talk about classroom management/
disciplining with love. She said that professional fee is around Php 10,000 up to Php 15,000.
Mrs. Bagon said that we should be able to give that talk so she should be informed so that she
can find an alternative.
Mrs. Pelingon also scheduled the Scholarship Program meeting on Thursday.
Mrs. Bagon clarified that 2013 Administrative Manual is the one functioning for SY 2017-
2018. She also requested Mr. Lenard Atienza to inform the Grade 7 teachers to remind the
children not to use the stairs of Morrisey Building.

SHARING

Mrs. Manalo shared about the 5 Love Languages of Gray Chapman. She said that The
kind of love is essential to the emotional health of an individual. The following love languages
were discussed: words of affirmation, quality time, receiving gifts, acts of service and physical
touch. She also shared the 3 ways to discover ones primary love language as well as children
and their love languages.

Meanwhile, Mrs Pelingon shared about Evidence Based Practice and its significance in
formulating and implementing program or activity. The sources of data were also enumerated.
She also presented the result of needs assessment and the learning styles of learners. She cited
that the existing program of guidance office is based on the needs assessment conducted.

Mrs. Bagon solicited from the group concrete actions that can be done after the sharing.
The following were the suggestions:

1. Share the data with the teachers.


2. Remind teachers to use varied teaching strategies.
3. Give time for grade level to brainstorm on varied strategies that can be utilized to
maximize the data on learning styles.
4. Review existing curriculum.
5. Special programs must be anchored on the data presented.

EVALUATION OF EXISTING REQUIREMENTS AND ACTIVITIES

1. MONTHLY MEETING - It must be shorter. Half-day meeting is preferred. Special


meeting can be called for immediate concerns. There must be a balance on the topics

being shared so the department heads of the offices can share it during their meeting.
For regular administrative monthly meeting, sharers must get it from the enumerated
needs.
2. SURVEILLANCE It is helpful in avoiding untoward incidents. Academic coordinators will
stay in their respective levels during morning surveillance. The principal and assistant
principal will be the ones to do the surveillance in all floors. Mr. Siyangbigay together
with servant leaders will do the rounds during lunch break.
In the elementary, a substitute teacher will be the one to do the supervised
recess and lunch if the adviser is absent.
3. SUPERVISORY NOTEBOOK NO. 1 (INSIGHTS) Mrs. Bagon explained the rationale
behind writing insights: improvement of communication skills and for the principal to
feel the middle level administrator. It was agreed upon that there is no required number
and it may be submitted every quarter.
4. MINUTES OF THE MEETING Minutes of the meeting must be submitted 3 days after
the meeting. An agenda must be submitted prior to meeting.
5. SUPERVISORY NOTEBOOK # 3 It was agreed upon that supervisory notebook # 3 will
be submitted at the end of 2nd quarter. The preliminary parts of supervisory need not be
included in SN # 3. It will be in a separate folder. Class schedule is also not included.
Offices must also submit soft copy of quarterly reports. To avoid repetition of activity
reports, it must be included in the report of the one who spearheaded the activity.
6. APPRAISAL The following must be improved: evaluation tool being used and the
process of evaluation. It was also suggested to have benchmarking to see the practices
of other institutions.
7. YEAR END REPORT will still be submitted.

OTHERS:

1. Honorarium of coordinators is still to be approved by the BOT.


2. A special meeting will be called with the following agenda: programs of IBED, Annual
Learning Plan, Evaluation Tool of Self-Assessment and IBED Operational Plan.
