Introduction
In article titled Sudarshan Chakra Dasa A New Approach Part 1 Calculation &
Applicability written by Sanjeev Ranjan Mishra and available in Saptharishis website,
the author explained the principles of Sudarshana Chakra Dasa and how to use it to
predict the events.
In this article, Using the Lagna Inclination and Date of Birth, I will be identifying
the possible timing for marriage event using Sudarshan Chakra Dasa .
Then, Using Vimsottari Dasa and/or Planetary combinations, I will be cross-

checking for more accuracy.
Every effort has been made to keep the natives personal information
confidential.
Please note that the planetary combinations just provide the environment for the
event to happen. It is up to the native to sense the signals and act accordingly.


Procedure to predict marriage timing
In general, the third cycle of SCD begins between the age of 22 and 24 and
lasts for 12 years. Hence for predicting the possibility of marriage, Cycle # 3 is
mostly considered. Under special cases, the 12th house Mahadasa in 2nd Cycle
was also considered, even though it is a rare situation.
Steps followed for analysis:
Once the SCD is calculated, the mahadasa and antardasa of

SCD at the time of marriage was identified.
The house lords are further identified.
The lords influence on the houses pertaining to marriage viz.

2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th & 12th are identified.
The Vimsottari Dasa at the time of marriage was considered

here.
Overall, SCD gives the all-possible timings for marriage event, which
can be further confirmed using Vimsottari Dasa and the planets
involved.

Case Studies (Predictions)

Chart 1: (Female) Date of Birth: 03-Sep-1988 (Mumbai) Lagna: 15 degrees 11 minutes
The Vimsottari Dasa when the Natives age was between 22 and 36 years
old is shown below:

Rahu is the current Vimsottari Mahadasa and Mars Antardasa is shown
below.
Jupiter being the Karaka for marriage for Women is the next Vimsottari
Mahadasa.
Sudharshana Chakra Dasa: Below is the natives complete SC Dasa period.

According to SCD, the House Mahadasa of 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th and 12th and
Antardasa of 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th and 12th are considered for predicting the
possibility of marriage timing event.
According to SCD, the first possibility is between Feb-2015 and Feb-

2017 and the second possibility is between Feb-2018 and Feb-2019 and the
last possibility is between Feb-2023 and Feb-2024.

Analysis of D1 chart:
Lord of 7th House is: VENUS (SUKRUDU) is in 8th house from Lagna. Planet Inclination is: 2 Degrees
and 2 Minutes. The Lord of Kakshya is: Saturn.
Since the native is female, Jupiter the Karaka for marriage is Lord of 1st and 4th houses is
in 6th house (owned by Venus the natural karaka for marriage) and cojoined with
Moon (Matru-Karaka).
Saturn Lord of 2nd (Kutumbha-stanam) is in 1st house, there by ruling 1st house and
spoils/destroys the 2nd house.
From Moon, Mars is in 11th house. From Venus, Mars is in 9th house. Thus, the native is
NOT a candidate for Manglik Dosha.
Mars lord of 5th (Putra-stanam) house is in 4th (Sukha-stanam) and Jupiter owns the 4th
house too.
Analysis of Vimsottari Dasa:
Rahu/Mars period begins in 2014-12 and ends in 2015-12. During this period,transit
Saturn will be touching the 12th (Pleasures of Bed) house on D1 chart. Since Saturn is
lord of 2nd house, the possibility for native to get married is high, but with some hurdles.
Between June 2014 and June 2015, transit Jupiter will be in house owned by Moon and
is touching Natal Venus too.
The next period is Jupiter/Jupiter, which begins in 2015-12 and ends in 2018-02.

Prediction based on Sudarshana Chakra & Vimsottari Dasas:
1. Rahu/Mars/Jupiter period begins in 2015-02 and ends in 2015-04. Exactly during this
period, 4th house Mahadasa and 4th and 5th houses Antardasas are running in
Sudarshana Chakra Dasa. Hence this is the first possibility for the timing of marriage
event.
2. Jupiter/Jupiter period begins in 2015-12 and ends in 2018-02. The 5th house Mahadasa
of Sudarshana Chakra Dasa will be running during this period. Thus, the period is again
indicates the second possibility for the timing of marriage event.
Validations using BCP Rules:
Consider the Jupiter/Jupiter dasa, which begins in 2015-12 and ends in 2018-02. As per
SCD, the possibility is between Dec-2015 and Feb-2017.

Between Aug 2015 and 2016, Venus activates the 4th house, which is owned by Jupiter.
During the same period, Venus activates the 4th house from where he is residing which
is 11th house (LIBRA), its OWN house and natural 7th house.
Between Aug 2016 and 2017, Venus activates the 5th house. During this period, SCD also
activates 5th house. During the same period, Venus activates the 5th house from where
he is residing which is 12th house (Pleasures of Bed). Mars owns both 5th and 12th houses
and residing in 4th house.

Chart 2: (Female) Date of Birth: 17-Nov-1990 (Dhaka) Lagna: 20 deg. 50 mins
old is shown below:

According to SCD, the first possibility is during Jan 2016 and the second
possibility is between March-2017 and Jan-2018 and the last possibility is
between Jan-2019 and Jan-2021.

Since the native is female, Jupiter the Karaka for marriage is Lord of 1st and 4th houses is
in 8th house (owned by Moon Matru-karaka). Jupiters 5th aspect is on 12th (Pleasures
of bed) house where Venus (natural karaka for marriage), Sun and Mercury (lord of 7th
house) are residing.
Saturn is lord of 2nd (Kutumbha-stanam) house and Rahu is residing here. Saturn
spoils/destroys the 2nd house, since it is his OWN, the house effects will be heavily
delayed. Thus, creating a Kutumbham (Family) would be delayed.
Saturns 7th aspect is directly on 7th house, owned by Mercury.
Transit Analysis of D1 chart:

Jupiter will be touching 7 house until June 2014, then will touch natal Jupiter & Ketu
until June 2015 and getting a direct aspect from Rahu.

Saturn will be touching 12 house between Dec 2014 and June 2017. Thus Natal Sun,
Mercury & Venus are all afflicted by transit Saturn.
1. Mercury (Lord of 7th house) Mahadasa begins in 2015-08. Since Mercury is in 12th house
from Lagna and in 2nd house from Moon, the possibility for the timing of marriage event
is VERY HIGH during Mercury/Mercury period.

1. Mercury/Mercury period begins in 2015-08 and ends in 2018-01. According to
Sudarshana Chakra Dasa, during this period, 4th (Home-life environment or Sukha-
stanam) house Mahadasa is running. In D1 chart, Jupiter is the lord of 4th house too.
Thus, this period is the BEST POSSIBILITY for the timing of marriage event.
Validations using BCP Rules:
Let us look at the BCP period between 2015-08 and 2018-01.
Between March 2017 and Jan-2018 (period predicted using SCD),

Venus is the cycle ruler and activates the 4 house (Owned by Jupiter). Thus Venus the
natural Karaka and Jupiter the dedicated Karaka for Marriage are both getting activated.

According to SCD, the closest possibility is between Feb-2016 and Oct-

2017. Any possibility after this is NOT considered at this juncture.

Since the native is male, Mars being the lord of 7th house and residing in 12th house from
Lagna, makes him a PERFECT CANDIDATE FOR MANGLIK DOSHA. Hence, the
possibilities will be minimal.
To add further, Mars is in 12th (Pleasures of Bed) house and cojoined with Mercury the
lord of 12th house.
Saturn is lord of 4th (Sukha-stanam) and 5th (Putra-stanam) houses is in 3rd house
cojoined with Moon. While Saturns 3rd aspect is on 5th house where Rahu is residing,
Saturns 7th aspect is on 9th house where Jupiter (Karaka for children) is residing. To add
further, Saturns 10th aspect is on 12th house where Mars is residing.
Overall, Saturn & Mars afflicted the houses that are important for Marital Life.
Moon Mahadasa with Jupiter Antardasa is the only possibility for the
timing of marriage event, which begins in 2016-04 and ends in 2017-08.
During Moon/Jupiter period, in Sudarshana Chakra dasa system, the Mahadasas are for
4th and 5th houses. Forutnately, during this period Transit Jupiter will be touching 12th
house (after June 2016 and until June 2017).

Chart 4: (Male) Date of Birth: 16th July 1992 (POB: Mumbai) Lagna: 8 deg. 42 mins
old is shown below:

Rahu is the current Vimsottari Mahadasa and Mars Antardasa is shown
below.
Jupiter is the current Vimsottari Mahadasa and is shown below.

According to SCD, the closest possibility is between March-2019 and

July-2019 and again between March-2020 and March-2021. Any
possibility after this is NOT considered at this juncture.

Analysis of BCP Rules:
According to Bhrigu Chakra Padatthi, between July 2018 and 2019, Venus is the cycle
ruler and will rule 3rd house, thus the possibility for the native to get married is Minimal.
According to Bhrigu Chakra Padatthi, between July 2020 and 2021, Venus is the cycle
ruler and will rule 5th house from Lagna (which is his OWN house) and 5th house from
where he is residing, which is 11th house from Lagna (Mars is the owner). Hence, there is
a HIGH POSSIBILITY FOR THE TIMING OF MARRIAGE EVENT during this period. This
matches with Sudarshana Chakra Dasa too (5th house as Mahadasa).
Analysis of Graha Yudha: .
According to Graha Yuddha;
o If Saturn is cojoined with any Planet, Saturn wins most Since Saturn is cojoined
with Moon (Lord of 7th house), Moon lost the war (Yuddha) and became helpless.

7th House Overview:
Saturn being the Lagnadipathi (1st house lord) and is residing in his won house and
cojoined with Moon (lord of 7th house). Thus Saturn became a very strong planet on the
whole chart.
Saturn being lord of 2nd house (Dhana-stanam & Kutumbha-stanam) also spoils/destroys
his OWN house.
Moon and Saturn are having a direct aspect on 7th house where Venus (natural karaka
for marriage for Men), Mercury & Sun are residing.
Mars the lord of 4th house is residing in his OWN house too. From Lagna, Mars is in 4th
house, thus the native have the full-aspect of Mangalik Dosha.

The Antardasas of Venus, Sun, Moon during Rahu Mahadasa are not cooperative for the
timing of Marriage event.
Due to Mangalik Dosha, Mars antardasa is not helpful either.
Thus, the ONLY possibility is during Jupiter/Jupiter period.
During Jupiter/Jupiter period, in Sudarshana Chakra dasa system, the 5th house
Mahadasa begins.
Due to Mangalik Dosha, the native will have delay marriage, if the event did not happened
during the above-mentioned period.

According to SCD, the closest possibility is between Oct-2014 and Oct-
2015 and again between Nov-2017 and Jan-2018. Any possibility after
this is NOT considered at this juncture.
The analysis of D1 chart for this native is described in much detail. For
the timing of marriage event, apart from 7 th house, 2nd, 4th, 5th and 12th houses
are also considered.
Nakshatra Positions:
Mars (Lord of 7th and 2nd houses) and residing in 12th house, is in Nakshatra owned by Sun
and is a Very Good with respect to Janma Nakshatra.
Saturn (lord of 4th and 5th houses) and residing in 2nd house, is in Nakshatra owned by
Mercury (lord of 12th house) and is a Friend with respect to Janma Nakshatra.
Jupiter (Lord of 3rd and 6th houses) and Karaka for marriage for women isresiding in 7th
house, is in Nakshatra owned by Ketu and is a Very Good with respect to Janma
Nakshatra.
Thus, all the Planets that play vital role in the timing of marriage event are
residing in positive yielding Nakshatras with respect to Janma Nakshatra.

Planetary Positions in 7th House:
Since both Moon (Matru-Karaka) and Jupiter (Karaka for marriage for women) are Malefic
planets and residing in 7th house, the house became afflicted. So, it is now the responsibility
of Saturn or Mars to make the event occur. Mercury (Lord of 12th house) and residing in its
OWN house, will play a secondary role. Please Note that Rahu is aspecting all the planets
in 12th house.
Moon mahadasa will be running, when the Natives age was between 22
and 36 years old. Moon being a Malefic delays the marriage, since its is Matru-
Karaka and is cojoined with Jupiter in 7th house.
Validation of BCP rules: As per Bhrigu Chakra Paddathi, Venus is the cycle ruler.

Between Oct-2014 and Oct-2015, Venus activates 4th house from Lagna (Saturn owns
it).
***>>> Thus, there is a VERY HIGH possibility for the native to get married during this period (since Transit
Saturn is touching natural 7th house LIBRA and Venus natural 7th house lord and Mercury natal lord for
12th house).
Between Oct-2017 and Oct-2018, Venus activates 7th house from Lagna (Mars owns it).
Saturn is touching natal Saturn in 2nd house and Mars owns both 2nd and 7th houses)..
Validation of BSP rules:
BSP # 22: Saturn implements its energy in the 6th house from itself in the 28th year. Saturn is in 2nd house
Number from Lagna, Sixth House from Saturn is 7th house Number from Lagna. Saturn's aspect to 6th
House effects begins on : 2014-Jan and Ends on : 2015-Jan.
Saturn is touching natural 7th house LIBRA and Venus natural 7th house lord and Mercury natal lord for
12th house). This exactly matches with BCP possibility too.

Conclusion
Based on the few examples, it is clear that using Sudharshana Chakra
Dasa (SCD), the timing of marriage event can be initially identified.
Once the timings are identified, cross-checked with Vimsottari Dasa
and/or Planetary combinations to check if the dasa & house lords are
supportive or not.
