I have had sleep paralysis, and demon attacks during sleep. I chant Om Namah Shivaya and the
tormentor instantly stops . the paralysis goes away. The demons run away. The dream instantly turns
into a heavenly experience. I have had hundreds of different experiences. But this one is the
greatest. No other names or religious incantations worked. Only these 3 words gave the best relief.
This makes Hinduism the greatest for me. I was a Christian before. I can tell you. The power of
Lord Shiva is infinite and i have experienced it.
If evolution is false, then why are dinosaur-like creatures not mentioned in Ancient
scriptures/temple carvings?
Has any Muslim or Christian ever read the Bhagavad Gita and felt tempted to replace the Quran or
Bible?
so that is one example of a prehistoric creature mentioned in Hinduism. I cant find any other
religion mentioning any creature belonging to that period.
Has any Muslim or Christian ever read the Bhagavad Gita and felt tempted to replace the Quran or
Bible?
I am an Indian Roman Catholic. I have read the Bhagavad Gita. I didn't read it just once - I read it
thrice. Since then my thirst for listening to Krishna never settled.
If there is an another Bhagavad Gita, I would be the first to get it. Since reading the Bhagavad Gita,
I have actively followed Hinduism and have gained control over my life. And I didn't stop there; I
have read books on numerous Hindu saints in addition to the Bhagavad Gita. Some of them are Sant
Tukaram, Sant Dnyaneshwar, Raghavendra Swami, Swami Vivekananda, The Ramayana, The
Mahabharata, and many more I can't recall. I went on to read books by Iskcon like The Srimad
Bhagavatam.
I've been to Iskcon temples and many Shiva Temples, including Rameshwaram. I prefer Shiva
temples for my peace and prayer.
I'm married to a Hindu. I take my child to more temples than my wife. I couldn't imagine marrying
a Christian girl as our ideologies would never match.
I discovered Hinduism out of curiosity on my own. Well, some credit goes to Ramanand Sagars
Ramayana, which was aired in 1987.
One doesn't need to get officially converted to Hinduism. It is always available. One needs to
simply drop his ego and experience it. If you think I'm writing this for upvotes, then please go
through my 1000+ answers. I've been on Quora for about 1.5 years and you may find at least 60
answers in relation to Hinduism.
P.S.. A lot of good comments got collapsed. I don't understand who is downvoting them. Please do
read them too.
