Immigrant Essay: Thesis and Sources

Thesis:

While Immigrants voyage to America with preconceived notions of a more stable future, for

women the reality remains that social constructs embedded in culture impose restrictions upon

their role within a community necessitating sacrifice in either culture or modernity.
