Pluvetta leaden balcony drains

The Pluvetta is the most popular solution for

throughput and draining of balconies. The quality,
usability and processing options usually build the
basis for the decision by the architect or
processor. The Pluvetta offers on each of these
areas exactly what you are looking for.

Design
The Pluvetta design is compact and solid. The
large size offers a sturdy product that can handle
a bump. The grate has many holes, offering a
quick way out for the water. However, the holes
are not that big that bigger waste (e.g. leaves)
goes through and causes blocked pipes. A double
edge assures a very tight anchoring in the concrete. The Pluvetta is very suitable for both
prefabricated balconies as well as balconies casted on-site. The Pluvetta is usable for plastic, steel
and zinc pipes.

Material
The special hard-leaden alloy provides for excellent castings, without porous spots, holes etc. But
most importantly: the Pluvetta will not cause rust spots in the concrete. After all, lead is a material
that withstands the ages. Without any treatment, the Pluvetta can be installed, there will be no
corrosion and known ugly rusty spots will not appear.

Processing
A lot of attention was put into the ease of processing
by the plumber and the concrete carpenter. The
complete Pluvetta consists of: (see image)

- The hard leaden cone (1)

- The hard leaden grate (2)
- The plastic assembly shaft for casting (3)
- The watertight sealing plate (4)

The assembly shaft is supplied in a standard length of

115 mm. Every other length is possible on order. In
that case, you can instantly cast the Number Name Material
Pluvetta inside the concrete. That saves 1 Pluvetta cone Hard lead, Pb Sb 10
you a lot of time. In case you cast the 2 Throughput grate Hard lead, Pb Sb 10
balconies upside-down, you can start 3 Casting shaft Plastic (PVC)
working immediately if you offer us the 4 Hardboard cover Wood
correct sizes.

In the case of upright casting, a hardboard plate ensures no concrete enters the Pluvetta during
casting. This hardboard plate also ensures that the grate is not lost nor that the Pluvetta gets
damaged.
As the Pluvetta is available in any required height, it will never stick out after casting. Damage
during transport is therefore not possible.

The Pluvetta is available both in a throughput as well as a drain version. For draining, a different
grate is available. You can indicate this during ordering.

Despite its qualities, the price level of the Pluvetta is hardly higher that other types, which miss out
on most of the qualities described above.
