INTRODUCTION:
These programs are developed through the observations of needs of TOEFL candidates, specifically,
candidates of Grandison Management. These candidates are physical therapists who are aiming to work
in the United States. These programs are based on the principle of enriching the basic competencies that
are essential to the TOEFL, as well as reinforcing the techniques that are employed in successfully sitting
the exam.
Course Description: This 30-hour program provides the students an overview and theoretical
background of the TOEFL test. It allows students to determine their competency for the test, hence,
recommended for more advanced test-takers who are seeking to take the test immediately.
Week 1 (15 hours) TOEFL Overview; Brief Discussion of Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing
(RLSW); Tips and Techniques; Dos and Donts; ETS Updates
Week 2 (15 hours) Practice Focus on Speaking and Writing
1. Provide students with an overview and theoretical background of the TOEFL test;
2. Give intensive training in Speaking and Writing;
3. Inform students of latest ETS updates and trends in TOEFL; and
4. Help candidates efficiently prepare for the TOEFL.

Course Description: This program starts with a basic 30-hour program that aims to provide an overview
and theoretical background of the TOEFL. This is followed by unlimited activity-heavy coaching with
English Proficiency integrated in the program which aims to boost the basic competencies essential to
ace the TOEFL. English proficiency includes lessons on grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.

B. Coaching Program
COACHING PROGRAM
The Coaching Program is an integration of 2 programs-one for building English proficiency, and the other
for boosting skills for TOEFL. Each 3-hour session is divided into two parts. The first 2 hours will be
dedicated to learning grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and the like, while the third hour will be
dedicated to building TOEFL skills using TOEFL specific activities and assessment. Each coaching week
culminates with a mock test to help keep track of students overall weekly improvement.
