9. Course Objective
At the end of this course, students will be able to:

1. Introduce students to organizational change and


development theories and fundamental knowledge of
change as an area of management
2. Explore various models and analytical tools used by
organizational change practitioners
3. Identify and critically evaluate a variety of organizational
change interventions
4. Develop an understanding of the challenges that both
managers and employees face when experiencing
change and develop critical thinking and skills in applying
organizational change theory to various workplace
situations
10. Course Synopsis This course examines concepts and techniques of
organization development (OD) and the management of
organizational change. Based on behavioral science
knowledge and methods, OD interventions facilitate
planned organizational change and renewal. Emphasis
will be on understanding and application of OD skills and
methods in organizations.Students are required to read,
prepare and to participate in class discussion.
